Today I'm going to talk about a card that inhabits the neutral deck and that has no attack but is incredibly useful for battles and you'll probably want to have it in your battles and in your collection.

The card is called Scavo Hireling and he is a common card from the chaos legion edition of the neutral deck, but you probably already know him because he is very common to see in battles and he is also one of the starting cards that you can play for free after buy the Spellbook in Splinterlands.

But why is Scavo Hireling a standout card?

As I mentioned before it has no attack so it won't be useful for dealing damage in battle, but it has excellent utility as a support card for your battles, it has abilities that support your other cards, which makes it difficult to defeat and even slows down your opponent's cards. The Repair ability is the main support it can provide for your other cards, with this ability it repairs part of the shield of the card that took the most damage, but it only works if the card it repairs the shield already had a shield before.

The ability Camouflage only makes it a target for cards when it is in first position so if you put Scavo Hireling in last position it will be a support for your cards until the end of the battle.

The Slow ability makes it slow down your opponent's cards by 1 so it will be very helpful for your cards to have a chance to attack first and this can give you a good advantage if you defeat an opponent's card before it is able to attack, this effect only works when Scavo Hireling is in battle but as it won't be a target because of its ability Camouflage then it won't be a problem.

What is the best position for Scavo Hireling?

As I mentioned before, Scavo Hireling has the Camouflage ability so it won't be targeted unless it's in the first position but this ability only appears from level 6, so if you're going to use it at a level below that, its position will be very important because he doesn't have a lot of health, so if you have 6 cards in the battle position 4 would be better for him because then it will be very difficult for him to be a target at the beginning of the battle.
