What is @dailydab?
DailyDab is an income token at its heart that rewards DAB token holders with a daily HIVE drip. There is no DAB token presale, none are pre-mined and the total distribution will be issued through different tokens starting with DBONDS.
All HIVE collected from selling DBONDS and future tokens will be powered up to the @dailydab wallet. This HIVE POWER is used to produce a yield and this yield is used to fund growth and daily DAB HIVE drip pool. Because growth is built into our DRIP model, HIVE drips for investors will increase over time, making DailyDabs long-term sustainable.
Our goal is to create a 100% HIVE ecosystem built around Daily DAB which pays a daily HIVE drip. We plan for this to operate and grow for decades so if you plan to be on HIVE for a long time, you should consider a sustainable HIVE income.

DAB APYs
The APY for DAB is dependent on the HIVE POWER balance of @dailydab. We work out a 12% APY for the HIVE POWER balance, divide that number by 365 and issue that amount as daily HIVE drips. Using the HIVE POWER balance, we aim to earn a 15% APY at minimum with 12% being used to fund daily HIVE drips and 3% being invested into HIVE POWER as growth to ensure sustainability and increase future drips.
EG,
- The @dailydab account holds 50,000 HIVE POWER
- We aim to earn a 15% APY from HIVE POWER
- 3% is powered up
- 12% of this is 6,000 HIVE
- We divide 6,000 by 365.25 HIVE
- We get a result of 19.43 HIVE
Roughly 20 DAB would be minted per day if we presold 50k HIVE of DBOND tokens. On day 1, 19.43 HIVE would be split between 20 DAB tokens. Day 2, 19.43 would be split between 40 DAB tokens. Below is a table to show the DAB APY for the next 31 days based on preselling 50,000 DBONDS.

I have included days 90,180,270 and 365 to show you a few stats into the future and show that it will not drop like a pin.
The daily HIVE drip paid per DAB token will drop sharply for the first few months. If investors stack all the DAB tokens they receive each day, their daily HIVE drip will increase by a fraction each day. An investor's HIVE drip should never decrease if they never sell DAB.
DAB BOND - DBOND
This is the 1st token we issue as a way to distribute DAB tokens. Investors can buy DBOND and stake them on hive engine to receive daily DAB token rewards. DBONDS are backed and pegged to 1 HIVE and we will offer buybacks starting 6 months after launch providing an exit for investors and offering an overall very low to no-risk investment.
DBOND Distribution &ROIs
Using a HIVE-engine Mining Contract, DBOND distribution is set to 15% per year. You might not mint the same amount of DAB each day because this is a lotto-based distribution but over the course of 1 year, you should receive around a 15% ROI. To help with reward variance, Miner BOND reward setting is on max draws for the day (24) and max winners per draw (20) so 480 rewards per day.
DBOND will be sold through a presale and then in batches of 5,000-10,000 at a time depending on investor demand with breaks of 4-8 weeks between each batch. As each new batch is sold, current BDOND holders will receive ROI boosts above 15% DAB APYs also increase because all HIVE from selling DBONDS is powered up and during times of selling DBONDS, HIVE POWER growth will outperform DAB mintage.
For the 1st year at least, the DBOND token will be the only way to mint daily DAB tokens. The sooner you buy them, the better your return. Buying presale, you will receive ROI boasts as each new batch is released increasing your overall ROI from 15% to a possible 25%+.
ROIs for DBOND will temporarily increase as each new batch of DBOND is released for sale.
As an example to explain,
- We sell 10,000 BOND during presale and set the DBOND rewards to 15% to issue 1500 DAB annually. Each DBOND token ROI is around 15%
- We release a new batch of 10,000 DBOND for public sale on hive-engine. The DBOND rewards are increased to 3000 DAB per year to represent a 15% ROI over 20,000 DBOND tokens in circulation.
- As this new batch is sold, DBOND stakers enjoy a boasted ROI that in this example starts at 30% and drops to 15% as the 10,000 DBOND tokens are sold and staked.

How to be a Dabber?
Dabbers can pick and decide if they want a passive or active investment. Buying DBOND and staking it will create a passive HIVE drip income that will not decrease as long as all the DAB rewards are held and stacked. Staking DAB will reward DBOND and overall increase an investor's HIVE drip but requires the active action of staking DBOND rewards received from staking DAB.
Each dabber decides their own fate. We decide when to buy DBOND, we decide if we stake some all of our DAB rewards are not, and we decide if we reinvest our HIVE drips or take the passive income. There are many paths to pick. Above shows 2 simple paths.

The end goal for Daily DAB
The end goal is to create an ecosystem of DAB reward tokens and grow our DAB army over time. This will be done by releasing new tokens and possibly NFTs that will mint new DAB into circulation. Each of these tokens will have its own tokenomics and be able to be gamified by investors.
Looking further out, a Daily DAB website will be created for dabbers to buy/sell/stake tokens/NFTs @dailydab releases. We will also use this as a place to promote HIVE by offering free HIVE account creation to non-HIVE investors.
There are alot of thing ways Daily Dab can go, the more successful it is, the more reason we have to invest more funds into building a stronger infrastructure. If we can build an army of loyal Dabbers and grow a large HIVE POWER balance, the sky is the limit.

Yup. We will never sell DAB - of course you can trade it on the market but that will be up to you guys. Only DAB you'll get is from minting it through holding DBOND

When you stake HIVE, its called HIVE POWER.
You can buy DBOND and stake it to earn HIVE. HIVE is an 8-decimal crypto so I cant see there being a min amount to stake.

Yes, your thinking right. If you stake DAB, you will receive DBOND to the same amount of HIVE you would receive as a HIVE drip.

Hi, I've got a question about DAB staking. Staking DAB will provide the daily drip in DBOND instead of HIVE, but I note that DBOND has no decimal. How would that work if you dont have enough DAB staked to earn 1 full DBOND each day ?
Yep, your right. I plan to change this to 8 decimals before DAB staking starts.
