Creating Memories with Friends: A Night to Remember [EN]

Last weekend was truly remarkable as it marked my first stress-free break without any academic obligations. In other words, I am officially on VACATION !!!🀩
Although I am eagerly awaiting a few grades, yet, I am confident that I have passed and can fully enjoy my well-deserved time off.

I can't recall the last time I had a chance to write a community article that wasn't related to #weekend-engagement. I was longing to break free and make my weekend worthwhile. Although it started off slowly.

On Saturday, I took a much-needed break and relaxed like a hibernating bear. Let's fast forward to Sunday, which proved to be more eventful. I woke up bright and early at 6 am, as the habit of waking up early dies hard. I had some unfinished business in the Historic District of the City, so I decided to take a leisurely walk. Although the walk was long, the weather was pleasant (no sun) and I had no pressing engagements.

Chocolate Museum Front Doors

Upon reaching the historic district, I made a beeline for a popular spot called The Chocolate House (more formaly known as Chocolate Museum) - a name that speaks for itself. I make it a point to stop by every time I'm in the area, as they offer a refreshing cold chocolate drink for a mere 50 CUP (0.25 USD). While it may not be the most exceptional drink out there, it's certainly a steal at that price. What I love most about the place is the friendly and courteous lady who serves it. She's always happy to show me around and offer insights into the chocolate-making process, including their unique chocolate-tasting sessions dedicated to identifying and correcting any imperfections.

Just a simple cold chocolate, but with the heat that there is, it's a blessed drink

I'm still trying to convince her to let me write an article about the Chocolate House, but she won't even let me take out my phone. Every time I reach for it, she reminds me that making chocolate doesn't require a cellphone, and it's hard to argue with such a warm-hearted person. After enjoying two cups of their delicious cold chocolate and finishing my tasks, I head back home with nothing particularly noteworthy to report.

The moment I had been eagerly anticipating all day finally arrived - the night. My friends and I had made plans to kick off our vacation with a celebration at Pazillo Bar (I'll be writing about it soon) Trust me, it's a must-visit! It's been a tradition for us to celebrate the start of our vacation together for the past four years, especially since it's tough for us to meet up due to travel and other commitments. With school and hospital internships keeping us busy, we hadn't visited our second home in months. In the past, we used to start or end almost every weekend here.

I remember this picture with great affection. I took it... I don't remember the exact date πŸ˜…

"Writing this article, I realized that my friends are better photographers with alcohol than without itπŸ‘‡πŸ». However, no excess is good, and drinking damages health.

The reason why we went to PaZillo.

We decided to visit on Sunday for the 'Sunday Beer Day' promotion, making it the obvious choice for us. I must say, it turned out to be an unforgettable night. The ambiance was spot-on and as always, Pazillo Bar did not disappoint. We chose to sit away from the crowd and started our much-awaited card tournament. Typically, we play three rounds of different games selected at random by our cell phones, with scores assigned accordingly. The loser of the third round pays for the first round of beers. As luck would have it, I ended up losing and paying for the first round. But hey, no regrets - it's all part of the tradition!

*This is the bar of Asere que bolΓ‘ (a very popular expretion with a lot of meanings)

The night was far from over. As we caught up on the past semester, more classmates joined us, and before we knew it, half of our class was gathered at Pazillo Bar. It was close to midnight, and we found it amusing that we hadn't planned to meet up with everyone, yet we all ended up there. The bar staff had to assign two waitresses to handle our orders, and it was pure chaos. Luckily, I had already paid my dues, or I would have gone broke. The final bill was enormous, resembling a scroll, and between all of us, we had nearly 80 jugs of beer (20 or so people). But the real treasure of the night was the unique moment of sharing and enjoying each other's company without any differences or conflicts. It was a memorable experience that we may never get to repeat again.

This was one of those unforgettable moments where you wish time could stand still, and the night would never end. It's not just about being with great friends; the cold beer added to the magic of the moment.

The night came to a close with some dancing, future planning, and friendly card games to determine the champion (I opted out after a while). Then it was time to head home. My partner and I took a refreshing shower and slept in until noon on Monday, and it turned out that other classmates did the same. The beer and dancing had certainly taken their toll on us, but it was a small price to pay for such a memorable experience.

The best moment of the night

Our celebration at Pazillo Bar was a night to remember. Everything came together to create an unforgettable experience. It was a moment of bonding . I hope this story has inspired you to plan your own night out, filled with laughter and memories that will last a lifetime.

So, what are your go-to drinks when you're out with friends? Do you have a must-have drink that you always order? I'm an old man, a g-dogasaurus of some 153 yewars old, but I'd go out with you mate...have a G&T or two. Not more because I'm a light drinker. Hmm...maybe three.

I always say that good company makes average food great and I think that's the same with catching up for drinks or wahtever; it's the company that makes it special.

Translate to English...

Age is something invented by humans to measure the passage of time, or so my great-grandmother says who is 87 years old and still goes out with her friends πŸ˜‚

G&T is a good choice, I like that choice, light and above all well-known.

And if I agree on the importance of good company, it doesn't matter where you are, if you are in good company, you will surely have a good time.

Thanks for reading and commenting, mate

For the G&T election πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ˜‚

Yeah, it's just a number and not always a good way to determine who and what a person is right? Age doesn't define us, how we think and act does.

Thanks for the transfer, I'll put it towards #weekend-engagement prizes this week.
