Hello Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

It's Caturday, once again, and we have entered the autumn season since last time. I think I even saw a leaf fall, a few minutes ago!

We've already started to notice that the days are getting markedly shorter, and the air is getting significantly cooler in the mornings.

I am still enjoying laying by the screen door for my naps, taking the sun and fresh air. Soon it will become to cold to do that... and I am actually grateful to be an indoor cat, as the temperatures drop.

The World is Slowly Crumbling?

We are all very grateful — the Hoomans and I — to have our small private bubble in which to live, but it seems like the chaos of the external world makes itself felt more and more, every day.

The Hoomans keep talking about these things called "the economy," and "inflation" and "the cost of living," and they seem a little tense about it all. From my limited vantage point, it does seem like things in the greater world are not well.

Not sure there is much we can do about that...

HiveFest Enthusiasm?

Meanwhile, it seems like a lot of people here in our community went to the most recent edition of HiveFest... and I hope everyone had a good time!

Beyond that, though, I hope there might be some renewed enthusiasm in the air to help drive our Hive community forward during what might be difficult economic times ahead.

If the world truly is slowly crumbling, we really need something to make ourselves stand out as "solid" in the storm.

The Shaky Cryptosphere...

Some days, I just don't want to look! Seems like we experience a few days of relative quiet, and then some new disaster or round of bad news strikes, and everything gets beaten back down.

I have often been told that some of the best opportunities come durinmg so-called "Bear" markets, especially for those who are able to keep their noses to the grindstone and accumulate while prices are low.

I can't actually do much — I'm a CAT, after all — but we'll just keep publishing cat blogs and hopefully it will be meaningful in the long run!

She serves as a good reminder that sometimes it's wisest to put all the worries on the shelf and instead focus on enjoying the simple basics of life: Naps, sunshine, getting your ears scratched and enjoying your kitty treats.

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and typically has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
