Nibbling on my greens!

Yay! A Treat!

The Dad-Hooman and I are still home alone while the Mom-Hooman is in Seattle house sitting for the Daughter-Hooman, so the house remains quite quiet. I'm really OK with that, as I am the sort of cat who prefers his quiet routine without a lot of comings and goings.

Today I got a treat! The dad human went to the supermarket and brought me back a small pot of wheatgrass which I enjoy chewing on!

I Like Green Things!

The Hoomans don't really like it when I chew on their house plants, so they buy me greens that I'm allowed to chew on. At first, I ignored them! However, I actually really like these, and they are safe for cats. The old pot (which was in my Caturday post) was getting a little bit dry, tired and worn... and I am particular about only having fresh greens!

Although there is no doubt that we cats are basically meat eaters, we do like to occasionally get some green as well. It gives us a few trace elements of nutrition that's just not available in commercial cat food.

It's important to find the right angle!

The Hoomans actually grow Catmint in their garden, and bring me some during the summer months! That's cool, too!

After snacking on the greens for a bit, I made it back to my basket next to the Dad-Hooman's desk and took a good long nap!

We can tell that there is now a sharpness in the air, as winter draws near, and I am glad I have nice warm baskets in which to sleep because occasionally we get some cold drafts, even inside the house.

Crypto Stuff... Still Positive...

Meanwhile, we are rather relieved and cautiously excited that the crypto markets have been holding in mostly positive territory for a few days now.

All too often, it seems like we make some nice sudden gains but after a couple of days or three we end up all the way back to where we were before. Frankly, it gets a bit boring — and worrisome — after a while!

Hive Goals

The Dad-Hooman and I have been looking at my Hive Goals we set for this year, and it looks like we're going to fall a ways short of my goal of reaching 4,200 Hive Power, this year.

Sure, there's still time, but I'm well short at this point.

But that's OK. It was a difficult year, and hopefully we can make up for lost ground in 2024!

And now... I must get back to my napping! But I appreciate you coming to visit, and have a lovely week!
