Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and outlying communities!

Well, I've had a birthday... and now it's already the weekend, and that means Caturday, my favorite day of the week!

Anyway, I'm enjoying my sunny morning here, and it is starting to actually look like spring... for the first time, there is actually a little warmth to the sun today!

Of course, the Mom-Hooman immediately came at me with her camera and expected me to pose for pictures, so I decided to show her "the other side of things!"

"Cat butt" is a common theme if you live with cats and try to photograph them!

Well, I have a perfectly good excuse: Since it is getting to be springtime, there are birds building nests in the nearby bushes... and that makes for perfectly wonderful and entertaining "Kitty TV!"

Now, if I could just get the Hoomans to let me out there...

Not that there aren't plenty of things for me to get into, inside the house!

The Dad-Hooman is very busy with his eBay things again, and he's trying to take pictures of all manners of fascinating things he wants to sell. They have been stored in boxes for a long time, so I must explore. And I definitely need to help out with the photographic set-ups!

Quick shoutout to @ewkaw, who knows all about the importance of cat help, when it comes to photography!

Speaking of "cat help," the Mom-Hooman was also putting up some tiny "Fairy Lights" around her window and curtains... and it was lots of fun to help her with the stands... they were all so fun and almost spring loaded that I had to play with them!

Seemed to make her a bit unhappy... sometimes you Hoomans just don't know how to have fun!

Are Things Going Better?

In this case, I'm talking about the Cryptosphere we're all part of, here.

Of course, I am not going to hold my breath here, since it seems like it's just one piece after another of "disastrous news" coming down the pike, these days. Seems like the idea of any kind of stability in the world — even temporary — has become a thing of the past... rather sad!

Well, as I have said before, I'm just going to keep plugging on, going forward... and focusing more on the distant future than the near one!

In other news, you might have noticed we haven't had any Smudge photos lately... she has asked me not to post any, because she's one of those cats who has to be shaved/shorn once a year... and that just happened a couple of weeks ago, so she looks a bit odd and funny at the moment.

She'll return to the pages of Curator Cat's world later this spring!

These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Remember, you can also "cross-post" your cat posts to them!

HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and typically has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
