Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and currounding communities!

It's the weekend, and we have just had Caturday, my favorite day of the week!

We missed Caturday last week, on account of the Hoomans claiming to be "busy," but so it goes... we're back now!

There's always a lot going on around here... and sometimes we just can't find time for cat blogging, as well.

It was a nice sunny morning, though! Nothing like enjoying some winter sunshine... a relatively rare event around these parts.

That sun feels so good!

Of course, there are often interesting things to watch, outside my favorite window spot, in the Mom-Hooman's office.

All of a sudden, there were people...

And then cars, parking along the neighbor's long driveway. And more people walking by... coming and going?

What the heck?

As it turned out, our neighbor-Hooman passed away a short while back, and they were having what the Hoomans called an "Estate Sale" today, which explained why all the people walking by would be empty handed when walking to the house, but be carrying all sorts of stuff when they were coming back.

We never actually saw much of that particular neighbor, although the Hoomans would wave to him when he would drive by the vegetable garden, when he left to go get the mail, and such.

Makes me wonder what sort of new neighbors we'll end up getting? Seems likely that the house will be put up for sale...

They were lucky with the weather for their sale, because when afternoon rolled around, the rain started pouring down again!

As per usual, I found myself very grateful that I am an indoor cat... for a moment contemplating that strange Hooman expression "raining cats and dogs." I'm sorry, but I have never seen any cats fall out of the sky. Not even wet ones.

Speaking of Wet...

Mid afternoon, there was a ruckus in the kitchen... so I went to investigate!

The Hoomans discovered that there had been a leak under the kitchen sink, so I had to go check it out.

Now, I don't do wet work — eeeewww! — but I definitely was able to supurrvise the Dad-Hooman's work, although it was actually the Mom-Hooman who did most of it! It needs to be a good and proper job, because I do not want to get my paws wet, when I walk into the kitchen to have a snack!

Evidently, it was not as simple as it looked, because the Hoomans both left to go to town to get some "parts" from the hardware store.

All is well now.

That sun feels so good on my belly!

Crypto Nervousness?

It's funny (not really) how every time there's an isolated piece of bad news somewhere in the Cryptosphere, the entire industry gets a hefty kick in the shorts.

Seemed like we were finally starting to see a few small upticks... and then all the gains are lost in 30 minutes because of some piece of negative news.

Meanwhile, I'm slowly approaching (A) my 5th anniversary here on Hive and (B) having 3,000 Hive Power staked. It feels like I am moving forward at an almost glacial pace... but I suppose patience is just part of the game.

And with that, it's time to publish this while it is still — technically speaking — Caturday, here on the US west coast.

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and typically has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
