Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and realms beyond!

It's the weekend, and that means Caturday, my favorite day of the week! We have a blustery and cold winter day around our neck of the woods, so it's a good day to stay inside and nap in a warm cat bed!

Busy and Creative House!

The Hoomans are still very busy with their creative projects, ahead of some "art show" they are going to, next weekend.

I like it when they are busy like this, because there are lots of things for me to get in the middle of!

Of course, I also like to make sure they don't get too absorbed in what they are doing, so I like to bring my catnip mouse and deposit it in the middle of their work. That way I get some playtime, as well!

Silly Hoomans! Do they really think they can put in uninterrupted work, without paying attention to the cat???

The Mom-Hooman's projects are particularly entertaining, because she builds little miniature houses and furniture, using things she finds outside. Some of them smell very interesting and are covered with moss and lichen, so I take them away to my own spots to examine them.

I'm not sure why she gets so upset about that! After all, we want to make sure that all foreign objects that come into the house are safe, right?

It's a nutural talent of cats to know exactly where they need to be, in order to become the center of attention!

Except when we are the center of attention... when it's best to just nap. Or clean your privates!

Are We Excited About Hive?

Because I am occasionally also "Crypto Cat," I'll be the first to admit that it was exciting to see the price of Hive shoot up, last night.

Of course, we see this happen quite a bit, and things tend to come back down again. I just hope we don't end up giving back all the gains!

I think we could all use a bit of positive news, around here... last year was a difficult one, for most people. And cats. Have you seen the price of cat food, lately? Not to mention that the markets often are completely out of my favorite brand, sometimes for weeks at a time!

When they are out of cat food... again...

In The Meantime, Moments of Gratitude!

Overall, this cat's life is pretty good!

I have a nice warm and safe home, Hoomans who love me and do their best to provide treats-on-demand and plenty of warm sleeping spots.

I will be my birthday next month (I was born at Easter) and it will also be the 5th anniversary of the Curator Cat blog on Hive!

These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Remember, you can also "cross-post" your cat posts to them!

HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and typically has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
