Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Welcome to the weekend and welcome to Caturday, my favorite day of the week! Time for the latest news and views from our corner of the world, but most of all, time for cat photos!

Wut? No Hoomans?

Normally, Caturday is all about paying attention to the cats, but today we're actually home alone because the Hoomans have this "event" they are attending all day, so they can sell their creative work.

Not sure how I feel about being alone on my day, but the Dad-Hooman assures me that the purpose of their being at this gig is to make money to buy cat food, so I'm just going to have to take his word for it!

So while the Hoomans are out doing their thing, I guess I will get caught up on my napping!

We did have a really big storm overnight, winds so powerful the electricity even went out for several hours. Thankfully it came back on before the Hoomans needed to get up and go to their event. I went out and patrolled the house to make sure everything was safe!

Thankfully, the Hoomans will be done with their event in late afternoon, so I can expect to get my dinner more or less on time! There are only so many disruptions a cat should have to deal with!

Good news is that the stormy night has given way to a sunny day, so I might even find a nice sunny spot for my nap, until the Hoomans make it back home!

Crypto Rising?

Meanwhile it certainly adds a positive flavor to life that the Cryptosphere is still holding up at a higher level! I think about this, and feel pleased and relieved... and yet? We are miles from even just the modest previous high point of just this year, at least as far as our own Hive token is concerned.

Of course, this cat does not offer investment advice, so I am mostly just "hoping out loud" for a really good ending to the year, and a strong first quarter of 2024, ahead of the next Bitcoin "halving."

I'm sure many of us would feel relieved to see a continued positive trend! We have about six weeks left of this year, will we see a new high for the year?

Well, I'm not going to worry too much about it. I'm just going to plug forward and hopefully if things go well get somewhere near my Hive goals for 2023!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
