Views from a 3 1/2 hour flight from Clark to Changi!
I recently traveled to the Philippines to witness one of their major festivals, and it was an amazing experience. There were still plenty of places I wanted to visit, but unfortunately, I had urgent work responsibilities that required my attention, so my trip was cut short.
Even though it was only a week-long trip, I think it was worth it because of the great memories I made. It was a bit exhausting since I visited Baguio City, which is located in a mountainous region and sits at an elevation of over 1,400 meters above sea level. If you haven’t experienced that kind of altitude before, you’ll notice that you get tired more easily due to the thinner air, and many of the walkways are sloped or undulating.
And just like any short trip, it had to come to an end. 😭 I had to return to reality, which was a bit sad because it’s never easy to let go when you’re already enjoying the moment. 😂
The flight back to Singapore took a little over three hours, from the Philippines' Clark Airport to Singapore's Changi Airport. While that’s relatively short compared to flights across the world, I found it enjoyable because of the breathtaking sights I saw along the way.
It was a daytime flight, around noon, which allowed me to witness some stunning views from above. That will be the subject of my post for today!
While waiting at the boarding area, I was already planning to capture every interesting view during the flight. That’s why I specifically chose a window seat. 😁
During the initial part of takeoff, I didn’t take any photos or videos because I just wanted to stay still and relax. So, the only photo I have is one showing that we had already reached a higher altitude. 😂
At that point in the flight, I could still see the land, but just a few minutes later, I was met with a view that made me realize just how vast our planet is. Everywhere I looked, all I could see was the sky and the sea. 🤩
After three hours of nothing but endless sea and sky, I finally saw land again—this time, it was Malaysia or Indonesia!
To be honest, I wasn’t even sure because I couldn't really orient myself during that part of the flight. 😂
Finally, I saw the large shipping vessels waiting to dock in Singapore. This part of the flight showed me how altitude and speed affect perception: everything seemed frozen in time, while the moving objects didn’t appear to move as quickly from my window.
And then, after a few minutes, we landed!
My journey reminded me that even short trips can leave a lasting impression, full of unforgettable moments and breathtaking views. I realized that every detail—from the thrill of a window seat view to the subtle effects of altitude on perception—contributed to an enriching travel experience. As I return to my daily routine, I carry these memories with me, eagerly anticipating my next adventure 😁.

I really think it is a nice place to explore especially it is so near to Singapore. So can always plan a new trip again soon. I will want to go explore too!
Southeast Asia is also a good spot to explore 😁
Love especially pictures of the ships, quite unique from the plane. Picturesque flight in general. The most important in flying is to have same amount of take offs and landings😁
I'm glad that you like the photos 😁. Thanks for the nice feedback!
