There's new Perks in Hivetown
I just noticed Ecency's new UI and it's looking slick even more. The dropdown list under my account is complete with all the necessary tools & features to operate in the platform. The wallet is now easily accessed by clicking the icon on the right of the list. While the post icon is on the left.
The clear distinction for this update is the Buy Perks option. It has a "burn" or "flame" icon with it. I wonder what it is...
Clicking the burn icon brought me here in this page.
It has 4 options:
- buy decency points
- buy in-app purchases
- promote post
- Boost+
I tested the Promote Post and I guess it does what it did before, to increase the visibility of the post within the Ecency app. This is a helpful way to let your content be seen by Ecency users. It may not immediately acquire you an upvote from other users but it sure is a good way to let others that you exist on this platform.
The other that I tested, which is the most interesting one is Boost+
I realized that Boost+ is a way for you to acquire a 200HP delegation from the Ecency account. It has 3 options:
- 7 days of HP Delegation for 1500 ecency points
- 30 days of HP Delegation for 6000 ecency points
- 90 days of HP Delegation for 17000 ecency points
The longer the duration the cheaper one. A 1000 Ecency point discount.
The Boost+ is a good way for new Ecency users to utilize their earned Ecency points. There are plenty of ways to earn points and you won't even be aware you're already earning some as you use to Ecency app.
The best way is to stay active and engaged with the community through the Ecency app. Posting content and commenting on posts are some of the best actions that you can do to earn more points.
As you earn more points, you can immediately use them to promote your posts and boost your account.
Once again, the Ecency team has done a great job in improving the app and making sure that it stays up-to-date for the community.

It may only be 200HP but it’s still a good deal burning ecency points for HP delegation. Yes, pls give it a try.
I already did and they delegated the HP in no time at all! I'm with you, 200 HP is great even if it's only for a week. But you can pay more points for longer delegations as well which is pretty cool!

One question, can we request multiple delegations same time? Like, I have 3400 points and I want two 200 HP delegations for 7 days.
I haven't tried the private chat but I do believe that it's a useful tool as well.
If you have more ecency points, you can only have longer duration but it will still be the same 200HP.

You are correct about that. Prior to this update, delegating to ecency for points and then using it to boost post is probably the method that has the best ROI.
