The Power of Genuine Engagement on Hive platform
Through my years on the Hive platform, one crucial lesson stands out: engagement is the linchpin of growth and success, applicable across all user types. Regardless of your interests, consistent interaction with fellow users yields fruitful results.
There are several effective methods to engage with others. You can show appreciation by upvoting deserving content or initiating discussions through thoughtful comments. One particularly effective approach is participating in INLEO's Threads, increasingly recognized as a highly impactful engagement tool. Utilizing these methods individually is beneficial, but employing all of them enhances your impact even more.
Before diving into today's topic, I want to emphasize that genuine engagement makes all the difference here, far beyond simply dropping a casual comment. Unlike mainstream social media where interactions can feel superficial, Hive values meaningful connections.
Here on the Hive platform, the true worth of your brand lies in authentic content and engagement. Balancing these elements is crucial to catching the eye of curators. Users, who act as curators, highly appreciate creators who consistently deliver authentic content. And that's what you need to become a trusted member of the community.
Now that I have made my introduction, let me share with you my observations for My Last Week's Hive Stats care of HiveStats.io.
- I posted 8 blog content.
- I have made 162 comments.
- I have curated 159 posts.
- I have also curated 76 comments.
While these figures may not be the highest on the platform, I consider them my personal best so far. Last week, I made a conscious effort to prioritize engagement. By actively responding to comments on my posts, I've noticed a significant increase in interactions compared to my previous lower engagement levels. It seems that positive energy reciprocates in kind.
It's akin to the saying: "Be a blessing to others, and you'll receive valuable blessings in return."
With this in mind, whenever I receive a comment on my post, I strive to match the energy and enthusiasm shown by the commenter. It's my way of appreciating their effort in engaging with my content.
Over the past few days, I've rekindled my activity in Threads. I've challenged myself to actively participate in INLEO's Threads, and I'm thrilled that I've been able to make it happen. The updated interface of INLEO's Threads is a refreshing change from its previous version. I'm thoroughly enjoying this experience as I deepen my engagement on the Hive platform through Threads.
My Goal for next week's Hive Stats are:
- To post about 10 content.
- To make 200 comments.
- To curate 180 posts.
- To curate 100 comments.
I believe it's crucial to consistently set goals for my journey on Hive. Much like embarking on any adventure, understanding your current position provides clarity on how far you are from your objectives. Setting regular goals not only keeps me focused and motivated but also allows me to track my progress and adjust my strategies as needed. It's about maintaining a clear direction and purpose in navigating my Hive experience, ensuring each step contributes meaningfully to my overall goals.
Thank you for this piece @curamax
It’s been in my head in the past few days so I figured to put it in a post. Happy to share :)
Your experience with genuine engagement is truly inspiring brother. Consistency and authentic connections are key and I've seen it in my own journey here. Well said man
It’s the principle that I’ve been following for a long time now and it works fine with my growth here in the platform. I would encourage the others to do the same as well :)
Indeed brother, it's a great principle
It's always nice to read each of your words when you explain us from your point of view some things related to Hive, consistency and commitment. I totally agree with all this because I also feel that it is great to contribute everything we can to the maintenance and growth of the ecosystem.
Setting goals and objectives is an ideal way to keep growing and to have feedback among users. I think all this should be done in a genuine way and to make Hive bigger and bigger.
Your words are very inspiring my friend @curamax and I appreciate every minute I was reading you.

I keep notes to everything that I do and observe how things are turning out for me. And everything that I wrote in this post have been stuck in my mind since then. I figured to share it to the community with the hope that it will ignite some thoughts and realizations too.
Hive is a beautiful platform, it really is and I genuinely believe in that. It’s genuine because of the genuine interest of the users to make it better (grow bigger). Hive’s success is every user’s success.
Thanks a lot for the feedback. I appreciate it :)
Thank you for sharing this, it's very helpful :)

You re right sir before this time I didn't know that it's necessary to engage on the platform to benefit from it, last week I have seen my stats and I was happy in what I saw, now I will keep up with engagement like never before.
