My entry to the Splinterlands Art contest #318: "SANCTUS VICAR"

A new week brings another opportunity to create my Splinterlands fan art for the weekly contest! This time, my entry is inspired by SANCTUS VICAR. Here is my completed piece.

Here's the Splinterlands card that served as my reference in creating my artwork.

SANCTUS VICAR is a rare card from the Rebellion promo edition that can only be obtained during the event. While the current market price for this card is over $2, it has limited supply and no exceptional abilities beyond Cleanse and Reflection shield.

I'm not entirely sure, but it seems that this Splinterlands character was inspired by the Hollywood actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, lol. Even the raised eyebrow looks exactly like how The Rock would do it. While I was working on my art, I kept thinking about his movies that I’ve watched before. Central Intelligence is my top pick because it's hilarious and has some great action scenes too.

Speaking of my artwork, I chose this character to recreate because I initially thought it would be simple enough to finish quickly, but it turned out to be more complicated than expected. While the face and head were relatively easy to draw, the surrounding elements were quite challenging. Creating the powers of water and fire in my style was particularly difficult. Additionally, I had to draw the snake wrapped around him later on because I didn’t notice it at first.

Here's my creation process:

Nice work bro. For a moment I thought I saw Dhalsim, maybe a fitter one with stronger arms.
