Holozing fan-art: Healer of the Ocean in Dragon Hoodie

I'm back with another fan art for you Holozing fans! This time, I've created a new hoodie design inspired by the Healer of the Ocean character and took inspiration from the Water-type dragon creature as well. Here's my final artwork!

For this artwork, while I was working on it, I discovered a new type of brush in ProCreate that can easily create the look of the sea or ocean surface. It was a lucky find since there are so many brushes to choose from, and I just happened to stumble upon this one. It made creating the background much easier because it looks realistic yet is surprisingly simple to use. All I had to do was pick a color and stroke the brush to achieve my preferred wave undulations.

In case you're wondering what tools or software I use for my artwork, I use ProCreate on my iPad. I bought the iPad as a pre-loved item, and it's surprisingly good considering it was already almost 5 years old when I got it. I only paid $260 for it, so it was definitely a great deal for me. I've been using it for my artwork entries, especially during the recent #zingtober event, as well as for my regular #holozing fan art posts like this one.

I've been dedicating some of my free time to creating these artworks to hone my skills and enhance my imagination. So far, it’s been a great experience, and it feels like my efforts have been worthwhile in terms of learning and growth as an artist.
