Waitingshed Renovation Activities

If the residents in the community help with each other, it can gain a good and successes in everyday living and make their place to become progressive. My blog for today is all about community activities here in our Zone and this was renovating our Waitingshed near at the chapel. Our Purok leader told us last meeting about the renovation of our Waitingshed. This is one of the Major Problem in our community particularly here in our Purok. Last meetings everyone was agreed about our leaders proposal, He also tackled the expenses and the money will used to buy. Gladly we saved few moneys in our Purok and it will be a big help renovating our Purok Waitingshed. It takes almost an hour of meeting because we carefully listed the materials it needs inlcuding its prizes.

Yesterday, the plan was put into action and the sercretary of our Purok and also our treasurer decided to went to the Market to buy the necessary needs for renovations just like Nails, Plainsheets for rooftops, lumbers, Cements, plywoods and few hollowblocks. After that, it carries and transported using a mini-dumptruck. It can make those materials carried one time and because of that the materials arrived the place a few minutes only. Everyone was very busy unloading those materials and started to renovate. We carefully unload the materials and after a few minutes of doing unloading, we successfuly finished it.

Also the part of Agenda is to give rice so tge workers will have food for their lunch. Gladly the Members of the Purok agreed and gave few kilos of rice gathered in one place and cook for their lunch. Not only those workers but also those people who went there helping unloading the Materials and cleaning the areas were the renovated waitingshed takes place. To make those activities transparent specially the expenses, we listed and calculated very carefully, the secretary also listed those people who donated rice.

Bamboos are very important here that is why the Purok leader asked my Relatives to have some bamboos and my relatives gladly give them. The teenagers of the Purok also helps carrying lots of bamboos and this will used to build fence, walls, tables and even chairs. Those long bench made of cement are also renovated and add some to make it new one. Some of them are very busy cutting those bamboos in right lenght and make it into pieces before nailing it and attached it to the renovated structure. The Women's association of the Purok also helps cleaning the place, making landscapes, planting different kinds of ornamental plants while others are also busy cooking for lunch.

A few minutes, some of the residents also came for help and this activities will be finish on time. There are lots of people who are willingly to help renovating the Purok waitingshed. This structure is for everyone and Public so it really must do by every member of the Purok. We have neighbors here who are carpenters and they offered their skills for the renovations including their carpenter tools. Some Barangay officials also donated paints and money to buy snacks for the workers and for me this is a great big success of Being solidarity.

Everyone was very happy and enjoyable eating lunch and snacks. This can help the workers do their job and to keep themselves very energetic. Our Purok leader was very happy and thankful to all for the uncoditionally support the Activities here in our community. This renovated structure can help everyone to have a cool place for a rest and doing meetings without getting heat from the sun. A shelter for everyone here in the community.
