Attending My Nephew's 8th Birthday Celebration

It was Mateo Luis Birthday and it was very fun and enjoyable because of his Special day. Well all of us has a special day happens to our Life. As for that, and my Family was invited in special occasions. Mateo is my Nephew and I was delighted and gladly accepted My Aunt's Invitation. It was a simple Kids birthday and expected to have lots of kids especially my Nephew's best friends and classmates. We decided to went at my Relatives house at exactly 4 PM last day and we spend a night there. Its been a long time since I did not visit our Relatives place in Naawan, Misamis Oriental and I was very excited to meet my cousins there.

Everybody was very happy and busy to prepare things just like the kitchen utensils, Ingredients for the food or dish they want to cook for the birthday celebration, others are also very busy by putting up decorations and colorful Balloons, Curtains and styro used for food packaging.

My Nephew was very surprised about this celebration He did not know that there will be having a simple birthday celebration to him and he was very happy to see this chocolate cakes brought by His Grandma. It was his 8th birthday and Everyone was very excited and happy. The design of the cake was very attractive because of the big candies decorated at the top and He loves to eat Chocolate cake that is why his Grandma brought his favorite cake flavor. At the top of the cake are the colorful chocolate sprinkles and a Birthday greetings made of icing.

They decided to do food packs for the children and the adults will only get some foods at the table. The most priority are the children and the food packs are only for them. The food packs are already set at the Dining table and also lots of birthday giveaways also at the table. This will be given to the kids who attended the birthday celebration and each giveaway bags consists of Candies, toys, and Keychain.

A moment later lots of visitors and children are already there and they are very excited about the games. My nephews was also very busy entertaining and playing with his friends at the lawn. The foods are nearly finished to cooked and some of it are already displayed at the Table. The Parents of kids are also well assisting their children and some Parlor games was being held.

The Delicious Food For My Nephew:

There are only few dish they served and first of it is this delicious sphagetti. This is one of the best food they always served always and my nephew loves to eat sphagetti. This is also perfect for slice bread and aside of that, children will really like to eat this.

Next is this boiled hot dogs with marshmallow at the top. This is also perfect for putting in the banana stems. They decided to boiled hundreds of hotdogs, I remember once when my Parents celebrated my 8th Birthday they also made and served boiled hot dogs.

Kinilaw is one of the best adult food, it is a kind of raw dish. Elders and adults loves to eat Kinilaw and it is already a tradition in different kinds of occasions. It is a kind of fish meat boiled a few minutes in hot water and after that, added with spicies like onions, garlic and ginger and vinegar.

For desert, they also make this fresh fruit salad made of fresh water melons, pineapples and buko fruits. They added milk and ice to make it more refreshing. There are also Adobo, Bihon, and lumpia shanghai and this foods are already put at the packed lunch for the children, well there are also for the Parents.

It was very fun and enjoyable day we had and I am very thankful for inviting me at the celebration. Until next Post, have a nice day everyone.
