Foray into Nvidia

My latest craze is on Nvidia. I wonder why it took me this long to start looking at Nvidia. Maybe my eyes had been on LEO and Hive!

The real reason is that I am looking at diversifying some of my investments into different asset classes, including bonds, ETFs, and equity, of course! So who would have missed Nvidia?!

The funny thing is that I looked at its chart on the day of its recent dip. I didn’t buy the dip, although I was really planning to buy it. This is how the chart looks.

Not pretty, heh?! Not when I didn’t buy it and then see its V-shape return. The last few days is what I am talking about.

You can imagine my anguish on losing the chance to buy it cheaper!

Well, how did I reconcile this? I treat it as a strong buy signal for the future. It had to be, as it quickly recovered. Impressive to say the least.

My days following this episode is close attention to Nvidia, the company. YouTube is, of course, the main source of knowledge for me at this stage. I am super impressed by what I learned about Jensen Huang and his business. Most significantly, they are committed to something very difficult to build, and what they had built and are building is relevant for the world’s appetite for AI. The potential of Nvidia is huge as it serve the world’s ever increasing computing needs!

I am watching this right now as I type this.
