There’s something comforting about starting your Sunday with a light, wholesome breakfast, and one of my favorites is Sabudana Mix. It's not just a dish, it's a perfect blend of taste, tradition, and health. This Creative Sunday, I decided to treat myself to this delicious recipe, which is not only super satisfying but also really easy to make.
Sabudana (tapioca pearls) is known for being light on the stomach, making it an ideal breakfast option. It is a preferred choice during fasting periods as well, due to its simplicity and ease of digestion.Let me walk you through the simple steps of making this tasty dish;

🍀1 cup - sabudana (tapioca pearls)
🍀1/2 - cup green Peas
🍀3 - green chilies (chopped)
🍀1 - tomato chopped
🍀1/2 - carrot chopped
🍀1/2 - capsicum
🍀1 teaspoon cumin seeds
🍀A handful of fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
🍀1 - lemon
🍀Salt to taste
🍀2 tablespoons oil
🍀 curry leaves
Step by Step Method

Soak the Sabudana
Wash the sabudana thoroughly and soak it in water for 4-5 hours or overnight. The water level should be just enough to cover the sabudana. Once soaked, drain any excess water and let the pearls fluff up.
𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙖 𝙈𝙞𝙭;
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and let them splutter.
Add chopped onion, green chilies and sauté for a minute.
𝘼𝙙𝙙 𝙑𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨 ;
Add the tomato, carrot, capsicum and green peas to the pan, stirring them gently and let them cook for 2-3 minutes.
𝙈𝙞𝙭 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙖 ;
Add the soaked sabudana to the pan along with salt. Stir everything gently on low heat to prevent the sabudana from sticking together.
Turn off the heat and add lemon juice for a tangy flavor. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
