I belong to a Muslim family. My mother was strict in this regard. When we were young, we used to wear frocks that were knee-length or longer. When we turned 12, our mother started dressing us in suits, and since then, we have been wearing suits. Our mother designed and made us very beautiful suits. She used to dress us like heroines in Hindi films, and we would follow them. When the movie "Maine Pyar Kiya" was released, almost all the girls got dresses made like the heroine's.

We used to copy dresses of Bollywood heroines from the 90s, like Heena, Madhuri, and Sridevi. Among the boys, Aamir Khan's cap was very trendy. My brother used to have one. Cricket was also a big craze. I liked Rahul Dravid a lot. We used to collect posters of heroes and heroines. Fashion wasn't as prevalent back then, and there was no internet exposure. We used to have DD Channel and listen to games on the radio.

When I look at today's teenagers, I see a big difference between our time and theirs. They are more fashionable and often say, "Mom, you don't know anything about fashion." I hope you enjoyed reading this. See you in the next blog!
