So I Was Classed As Spam.
In other words I was spam which If I compare what we call spam on Hive I was not even close. Maybe it was more like me liking Hive content and they decided to block me instead. I am sure if this happened to someone on F...Book they would be depressed and suicidal as many shallow people tend to live their life around that nonsense and there are far too many hooked. We all know the type and what a sad life they live.
Whats does spam mean?
Spam is any kind of unwanted, unsolicited digital communication that gets sent out in bulk. Often spam is sent via email, but it can also be distributed via text messages, phone calls, or social media.
Bulk is why my banning was such a joke and believe it is more about the Hive element that anything else.
This is a response I received this week after waiting close to 6 months to get my Twitter account sorted. Not that it makes much difference as I hate any forms of social media and think it is in most cases a waste of time unless you are in Crypto. Crypto is the exception to the rule and rightly so as it can make you wealthy apparently.
Funny really to think we have certain tools to gather information and "threads" along with Twitter are vital to staying informed. Crypto can change in the blink of an eye and knowing what the market is doing is vital if you are invested.
I have never been a F...Book person as I never saw the point to be honest as I talk to everyone by phone who is close to me. I am one of those people who tend not to share things like holiday snaps as I keep my business private.
The damage those things can do I have witnessed first hand when a business owner (his wife) posted about a house they had just built. The demoralizing effect that had on his employees in his company who were questioning their salaries and their worth. His wife has been banned now from her ego trips, but the damage was already done.
Many call Hive a type of social media, but I see it so differently as it is more advanced. The only social aspect is the engagement through replies and comments taking place along with discord and threads. This is a million times better than social media and I think it is insulting to compare Hive to all the others as it sells the wrong idea.
I do think in the future many will move away from their current social media onto places like Hive as it is more of a lifestyle and a step up from liking worthless crap. On Hive you actually learn things as most of the people here have worldly experiences and have something to offer. Not forgetting that you earn via posting and curation when you like something and this could turn out to be worth quite a bit over time and in some cases life changing amounts.
Just imagine how much value many could have now if they had joined Hive 4 or 5 years ago instead of being stuck in some mindless nonsense that offers no monetary value. Then again they are a certain type of person and maybe they would not be able to cope with this place.

I was more active on Twitter, but I have started to move away from it. It is too bad because there is so much crypto info on there, but with threads coming out now, I don't see the point of doing twice as much work. I haven't used Threads as much as I should.

The existence and impacts of hive is tremendous which is totally different and advanced as been said than any other social media platforms. There's so much opportunites here and when you spend close to four to five years here will be massive with what is attached to gain than when wasting time on other social media platforms that don't have what to offer in those same years.
Use #threads instead. Leofinance is working on trying to create an alternative.

Yes I will now. Been tied up with personal stuff and that was sorted today.

Got kicked off Twitter a couple of years ago. Apparently threatening to hang, draw and quarter politicians isn’t ok but allowing those same politicians to promote hate filled campaigns to the general public is! Oh well!
Yep. This is all one sided and no one can think differently.

Imagine your Hive account is suspended and you have to wait 6 months for it to be sorted with all the funds in your wallet not accessible and you are losing money every day for not being active on Hive lol.
Thank goodness no big brother can f*ck with my Hive account!

The difference is you would still be earning lol as the 3% interest plus we all have some auto votes set. It would suck and why it is great that cannot happen.

Lol so many ways Hive is better than the Web 2 social media platforms out there.

Twitter is cancer. Everyone should just come over to Hive!
I have been trying to stay off Twatter as much as possible on a personal level because I took a job that requires me to be on it for that. I have started to filter all kind of garbage out of my feed, but it still makes me want to puke.
Yeah. I am with you on that as there is so very little worthy material.

That's why hive blockchain will always be best much more than the centralised social media we have

You're certainly right that Hive is so much more than just a social media platform.
It's always hard explaining the layers of Hive to someone that isn't involved in crypto.
At the base layer, you have your account that acts as your censorship-resistant way to speak and transfer money.
Then built on top are layers of different dApps that you use that same account to connect to.
Social platforms, blogging platforms, gaming platforms etc etc.
The list goes on but the key is that they're all accessible by the one censorship-resistant account made possible by the decentralised Hive network.
Very cool once you understand and it just clicks :)

Can't beat the Twitter for the live reactions in sport though. I love having the Twitter open when theres a match on. You nearly get the replay before the TV shows it.
