Enterprise Tokens One Step Closer
Today the Multidag Testnet is launched on the Trustchain which is the COTI blockchain which will allow for the minting of Enterprise tokens. This is the second multi token layer below the COTI token that processes and facilitates the services required. Testnet always has to happen first which will then be followed in 4 weeks time by the Main net guaranteeing that any issues are sorted and ironed out first.
Up till this point the main thought has all been about supplying the Djed stablecoin for the Cardono eco system but the Vasil Hardfork has already had 2 delays so who says DJED will be the first earning token supplying rewards to the COTI treasury. DJED will be a massive earner for those who have COTI staked, but then again so will the Enterprise tokens so the sooner this kicks off the better.
Development can never stop and projects move on regardless as waiting on one to happen is not an option. When your project is about providing payment options through digital currencies on top of your infrastructure then this is just the beginning.
We know of 3 companies who are launching their Enterprise tokens this year in the last Quarter (October-December), we just don't know who they are yet. The only information we have been told is that one of them will blow you away at how big they are.
Online is where the shopping happens these days and the idea of removing the likes of Mastercard and Visa from the purchasing process is why this is so important for everyone. This will be the first real disruptive event the institutions will feel when it comes to Crypto as a use case. Up till now they have been trying to protect their own business interests through regulation and delay tactics using whatever means possible.
COTI is a registered bank so it is an institution and is a wolf in sheep's clothing abiding by all the regulations so there is nothing that can be done to prevent this. This is why the team has taken the time to make sure they are following all the rules and cannot be blocked at the last minute by some new piece of regulation.
I see the Enterprise tokens as a huge step not only for COTI, but for the entire Crypto industry as this will be the first token many will be holding for their very first time. Not only the masses but corporate as this will open the door for many new opportunities offering an alternative payment method. Once we see the first companies enter this space more will follow as that is how things work. Blockchains being used by business especially for payments is where the real use cases lie and this is not far away from going live.

That is pretty exciting. I will be really eager to see who the three big names are. It is hard to believe we are already pretty close to the end of the year and these announcements will be upon us before we know it!
