Blink Of An Eye

source

Over the last 12 hours we can see how quickly things can change in Crypto with the price of certain tokens doubling. Travala (AVA) and HIVE which I hold both thankfully have shot off into oblivion compared to the rest of the market. This is only the first course though as the main course is still a few years off.

Yesterday I could afford to buy a Ford and today it is an Aston Martin not that I would but that is the change that can happen so quickly. Outsiders not involved in Crypto would say you are lucky but there is no luck involved. This is all down to hard work mixed with patience and dedication.

I think we have all heard the "lucky" word before and it kind of gets to me as people always see the bottom line and not the work that has gone in behind the scenes to get there. Everyone makes their own luck by the effort it takes to get into these positions.

Price means nothing though unless you are selling and the Aston Martin will have to wait (if ever) as I am not a material type of person. We all know being in Crypto there is still a long way to go and the Aston Martin is pocket change as those funds could make 50x more than buying instant gratification.

How much would Crypto really change your life is all up to you and the type of person you are. Many are not ready for the wealth that is coming their way and will end up in the same financial predicament at some point. One has just got to look at how many lottery winners are flat broke as they have no clue how to hold onto their wealth.

I do believe it is the path you take in life that defines what type of person you really are. There are those that work for what they have and there are the others that get "lucky" with little effort and just good timing. Those that do little effort tend to let wealth slip through their fingers far easier than those that appreciate the little they have.

When I grew up there were no silver spoons and it was a struggle financially like the normal average household. Birthdays and Christmas were celebrated but that was the only time you received the things you needed and not necessarily desired. My kids have never lived like that and don't know the meaning of not being able to have something as I have made sure their life was somewhat different. The value of money however has always been known so they have had to save if they wanted to buy something.

Crypto is a strange beast as within the blink of an eye you can have value and then it is gone again until next time which could be a month, a year all depending on the market cycle. All we really know is when it happens each time you have more coins in your portfolio so the numbers will always keep rising unless you buy an Aston Martin and then what do you have?

All we know is to keep building and keep on doing what we do best as the fortunes are here for those that want to change their futures for good.

Indeed we all make our luck.
And it takes discipline to hold on to coins and tokens especially when you just watch prizes go up and you feel it would go higher but you ain't sure

Crazy lightning moves on the crypto markets with both Travala and hive under the spotlight. Such times I simply don't know how to behave as usually I have the funds locked either in DeFi (AVA) or staked (HIVE) with a 13-week release period. Probably I should keep some liquid tokens for such market movements.

Yep I have both but wish AVA would have staking as they used to have 11% APR and now nothing. I am only focused on staking these days and not interested in price until I am earning enough through rewards.

Yep, well said, you get what you work for in the end. Hard work, grit and determination usually eventually pays dividends
