My mother's life in recent years has been marked by the guidelines of a surgeon, the woman who brought me into the world suffers from skin carcinoma that has deteriorated her face at a devastating rate.
My mother has undergone surgery on several occasions, the last intervention was performed by a plastic surgeon to make a forehead and nose lift.
My siblings and I know that the situation has worsened, and that the chances that the surgeons will do a major surgical intervention depends on the availability of economic resources that we do not have at the moment.
