Decision-making is the most complex thing in life, and even more so when those decisions have to do with disciplinary measures where a friend is involved in certain ethical, moral and disciplinary problems.
In legal terms, when we talk about the right not to obey instructions, it is something like saying that we are not willing to execute the regulation, which in my opinion is a prejudice to the duty of obedience.
Disobedience is as bad as the disciplinary offence itself, the point is that subjective assessment comes into play when it is a friend who is being singled out as the offender.
