¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! ¿Cómo están hoy? Espero que lo estén pasando genial.
Esta semana no tenía tanta energía como de costumbre pero aún así tenía muchas ganas de dibujar así que decidí hacer algo pequeño pero lleno de detalles que pudiera relajarme a la vez que captara toda la atención de mi mente. No he hecho arte tradicional en mucho tiempo, así que también estaba muy entusiasmada con este proyecto.

Hi my dearest friends of hive! How are you doing today? I hope you're doing great.
This week I didn't have as much energy as usual but even so I really wanted to draw so I decided to do something small but full of details that could relax me at the same time that catches all attention from my mind. I haven't made traditional art in a while so I was also very excited by this project.

I think it turned out very well! And the process was very fun too so let's see it.

PROCESO/PROCESS

Empecé haciendo un boceto base con un lápiz 3h, algunas cosas las hice con regla y algunas cosas las hice a mano alzada. Este boceto fue muy suave y un poco descuidado porque el siguiente paso es definir esas líneas.

I started by doing a base sketch with a 3h pencil, some things were made with a ruler and some things were made freehanded. This sketch was very soft and a little bit sloppy because the next step is define those lines.

Ahora usando un Sakura Rapidograph 0.4 comencé a definir las líneas que quería dejar, también fui agregando detalles ya que es más fácil hacerlo usando tinta, los trazos tienen un carácter diferente con tinta. No puedo recordar claramente los nombres de la mayoría de las plantas que dibujé allí, pero las he visto muchas veces. Una vez definidas todas las líneas por el rapidograph, borré el boceto a lápiz para tener un resultado más limpio.

Now using a 0.4 Sakura Rapidograph I started to define the lines that I do wanted to stay, also adding details since it's easier to do so when using ink, the strokes have a different character with ink. I can't clearly remember the names of most of the plants that I drew there but I've seen them a lot of times. Once all the lines were defined by the rapidograph I erased the pencil sketch to have something more clean.

El siguiente paso fue pintar el color base, que era verde ya que el color verde siempre me hace sentir mejor, es un color tan relajante. Pinté la base con acuarelas y luego comencé a pintar algunos detalles con un verde de acuarela más oscuro. Al pintar con acuarelas el papel puede empezar a deformarse un poco pero no es un problema tan grande, puedes poner un libro encima del papel cuando termines y se verá bien de nuevo.

The next step was to paint the base color, which was green since the green color always makes me feel better, it's such a relaxing color. I painted the base with watercolors and then started to paint some details with a darker watercolor green. When painting with watercolors the paper may start to deform a little but it's not such a big deal, you can put a book over the paper when you finish and it will look good again.

Agregué algunos tonos de azul para que el verde se viera más rico y también agregué una base marrón para la pared de madera pero sin mezclarlo demasiado ya que no quería que el marrón le robara el protagonismo al verde por ser demasiado oscuro o demasiado fuerte. En este momento, el reflejo del vidrio puede parecer demasiado fuerte, pero como todavía estamos en el color base está bien.

I added some blue shades to make the green look richer and also added brown base for the wood wall but without mixing it so much since I didn't want the brown to steal green's show by being too dark or too strong. Right now the reflect of the glass may look too strong but since we're still in the base color it's ok.

Ahora para la parte final tome un poco de témpera verde y un poco de témpera azul y las mezclé hasta obtener un verde algo azulado, luego le agregue un poco de agua para que no quedara tan fuerte y con un pincel muy delgado pinté muchas manchitas y detalles por todo el dibujo, usando el mismo color en poca cantidad pero en muchos lugares puedes garantizar que toda la pintura luzca en armonía sin ser demasiado aburrida. Mezclar acuarelas con témperas es muy fácil y relajante si no quieres un aspecto súper limpio en tu dibujo, pero recomiendo esperar a que las acuarelas estén medio secas antes de aplicar las témperas.

Now for the final part I took a little bit of green tempera and a little bit of blue tempera and mixed them till I get a somewhat blueish green, then I added a little bit of water to it so it wouldn't be so strong and with a very thin brush I painted a lot of little spots and details all over the drawing, using the same color in a little amount but in a lot of places you can guarantee that the whole painting looks in harmony without being too boring. Mixing watercolors with tempera is very easy and relaxing if you don't want a super clean look in your drawing but I highly recommend waiting for the watercolors to be half dried before applying the tempera.
