Education and assertive communication for effective teaching..

Hello dear friends, receive greetings and many blessings to all of you, this time I want to share with you this post related to the importance of being able to communicate with our children in a correct way so they can learn how things should be communicated.

Every time we communicate with our children to give them an instruction or to ask them to help us with a task, many times we do not do it in the right way and we ask ourselves ....... Maybe he doesn't understand what I'm saying; or maybe I'm speaking another language.

It is there where the problem lies and we must review how I am asking for things, is that instead of talking I am yelling all the time to make him listen to me, this communication is not assertive and also when we do it we want it to be at once, shouting louder and louder until we reach a level where we are filled with anger and causes us to teach him a lesson.

When the child feels that you are going to reprimand him/her is when he/she decides to do what you have asked them many times before and it causes in the parents a level of guilt since you know that it is not necessary to reprimand so that they can perform the assigned or necessary tasks such as their personal hygiene..

This action gradually breaks the emotional bond between family members, since there is no effective communication where things are clear and are not characterized by shouting, transforming the family environment into a dysfunctional one.

Therefore, we must work on patience, since children cannot see life from a very young age like adults and they are learning or absorbing the teachings that we give them, they will treat people as we treat them, that is to say, that is what we are teaching them.

Whenever we need to tell them something we must do it from close without shouting, it is necessary to be able to have eye contact and with a tone of voice according to what they can hear us without stunning, this will allow us to have a good feedback in case there are doubts in what is being asked to do.

Every action to be performed should be as clear as possible, leaving firmly the time of completion and the time to do a new task, for example, when you finish eating you wash your hands with soap ..... This will allow you to know what to do. We must take into account that children in many cases see everything as a game in their early years, that is why we must make sure that they understood what we told them..

It is important that we can keep in mind that we are their teachers and we are teaching them habits that will be beneficial for their future but they should not see it as a torture.

Well I say goodbye, I want to thank you for your support. And for visiting my blog, wishing you many blessings and success in your life.
