HELLO AGAIN, HIVE

It feels like I have been away from here since forever and when I checked the last I published a post here, its been almost two months!!! Two months!, guys--If you ask me, that also amounts to forever, for real. I haven't taken that much break from here since the year started and as unplanned as this break was, there is no doubt that I had my reasons. I am not sure I am even mentally ready to be here yet, but this place has become a huge part of my life. Moreso, writing can be so therapeutic for me and I really need a lot of that right now.

I am currently at my place of work, low key wondering when it will be over. My work isn't stressful but it appears to not really be my thing. I think I once published here when I was posted to a public secondary school for my service year and so far, I am getting used to the system. Honestly, I think teachers are really trying and they ought to get more accolades than they do. I remember expressing how much I didn't like this school because of my first impression but guess what? It has actually been very nice. My bosses have been really kind to me and I have met new people, made few acquaintances too.

I was initially meant to take agricultural science but that was later changed to home economics, and that is going on pretty well. The people in my office are so so kind, especially the teacher I am helping, who is like my direct boss. I mean, she does it so effortlessly and genuinely and it is very beautiful to see. Late last month, she gifted me a necklace as my birthday gift, I was very shocked by her kind gesture but I was very grateful too. Oh yes, Last month (October) is my birth month and I celebrated my birthday almost a month ago, on the 20th.

I had a very beautiful birthday celebration, spending it with family and friends. I didn't expect the day to be that interesting because I was thinking that since I was done with school, there wouldn't be so much happening that day. Contrary to my imagination, it turned out to be a really amazing day and the people that came around made my day. There was so much calls, wishes, posts, and even gifts. There was a lot to eat and drink as well, and a lot of dancing. Somehow, the day ultimately ended in a way I never imagined it to and I had and still have so many questions for the universe, but I hope everything makes sense soon. I really loved how the pictures came out, it was worth all the stress I had to go through to put it all together. Well, it's really good to be back, I have really missed being here so much. Umm, hello there again, Hive.
