Hola amigos 👋🏾 espero que estén muy bien 👍🏾. El día de hoy quiero mostrarles lo que he tejido. Desde hace un tiempo he querido tejer una de estas figuras de animalitos llamados Pingüino 🐧, me encanta verlos más que todos en dibujos animados y películas. No lo había hecho antes porque no estaba segura del resultado. Luego una de nuestras compañeras crocheteras nos dió como premio 🏆 el patrón de uno de sus pingüinos y me pareció tan hermoso que no he querido tejerlo con los hilos que tengo. Espero pronto sorprenderlos y mostrárselos ya tejidos con unos hilos más bonitos. Mientras tanto me animé a tejer el mío y ya verán el resultado.

For a while now I have wanted to knit one of these little animal figures called Penguin 🐧, I love to see them more than all in cartoons and movies. I hadn't done it before because I wasn't sure of the result. Then one of our fellow crocheters gave us as a prize 🏆 the pattern of one of her penguins and I thought it was so beautiful that I haven't wanted to knit it with the yarns I have. I hope soon to surprise you and show it to you already knitted with nicer yarns. In the meantime I decided to knit mine and you will see the result.

En estos momentos dispongo de hilos de algodón (pabilos) y del acrílico delgado (colombiano) entonces me decidí por tejerlo con hilos pabilos ya que quiero que quede suavecito y un poquito grande.

Al momento de empezar a redactar este escrito conversé con un amigo y le conté lo que había hecho ☺️ enseguida me preguntó que si lo que le mostraba era un Pájaro bobo o un Pingüino 🤔 me dejó pensativa y fue cuando me explicó que los verdaderos Pingüinos están extintos y lo que vemos en la actualidad en algunas partes del mundo es un animal similar, muy parecido a los pingüinos, pero no son pingüinos. Lo dudé y para dar credibilidad a sus palabras me envió un enlace de la web en el que se puede leer un poco sobre los pingüinos y su Extinción

At the moment I started to write this piece I talked to a friend and I told him what I had done ☺️ immediately asked me if what I was showing him was a Pajaro bobo or a Penguin 🤔 he left me thoughtful and that's when he explained to me that the real Penguins are extinct and what we see today in some parts of the world is a similar animal, very similar to penguins, but they are not penguins. I doubted it and to lend credibility to her words she sent me a web link where you can read a bit about penguins and their Extinction

Mientras tejía el pingüino 🐧 pensaba en que me había tardado mucho tiempo para iniciar este proyecto. Creo que lo había visto muy complicado hace unos meses. Ahora a medida que voy tejiendo otros amigurumis voy fijándome de cada detalle y de la forma de las partes, entonces pienso en otros Amigurumi que podría hacer siguiendo el mismo patrón.

As I was knitting the penguin 🐧 I was thinking about how it had taken me a long time to start this project. I think I had seen it too complicated a few months ago. Now as I am knitting other amigurumis I am noticing every detail and the shape of the parts, then I think of other Amigurumi I could make following the same pattern.

Me gusta tejer arrancando desde un anillo mágico de 6pb. Esa secuencia se me hace más fácil seguir al momento de crear. Los aumentos y las disminuciones se cuenten sin complicaciones. En estos días he estado practicando tejer las vueltas de puntos pares así por separado para que el Amigurumi quede más redondito. Me explico; cuando toca la vuelta de 2pb-1aum la empiezo con 1pb-1aum, luego continúo con 2pb-1aum y al final tejo el otro punto que faltó al iniciar. Hago lo mismo con las vueltas de 4pb, 6pb y así sucesivamente. Hacerlo en el pingüino me gustó muchísimo y lo he repetido con otros tejidos que he elaborado en estos días.

I like to knit starting from a 6pb magic ring. That sequence is easier for me to follow when creating. The increases and decreases are counted without complications. These days I have been practicing knitting the even stitch rows separately so that the Amigurumi is more rounded. Let me explain; when it's time for the 2pb-1aum row I start with 1pb-1aum, then I continue with 2pb-1aum and at the end I knit the other stitch that was missing at the beginning. I do the same with the 4pb, 6pb and so on. I really liked doing this on the penguin and I have repeated it with other knits I have made these days.

Este pingüino me quedó gordito como un cerdito que tejí hace poco. Pero el resultado me encantó. Ahora tengo un animalito más para acompañar a los otros que he tejido en este inicio de año. This penguin was as chubby as a little pig I knitted recently. But I loved the result. Now I have one more animal to go with the others I have knitted at the beginning of the year.
