Massive Baobab Root
Hey everyone. This is Africa's biggest tree and it definitely doesn't want to be confined to a small pot. The mighty African Baobab, but a bit more of that later.
Here a few of my early winter bonsai plants still thriving albeit going into a frigid winter. Above my glorious coral tree which come summer hoping will have the more incredible array of bright red flowers. Below a glorious year old macademia nut tree also very happy.
Below my year-old mulberry tree, as a child we used to go crazy with the berries as well as our silkworms loved their leaves.
This Baobab which I planted in my sons honour when he was born has really started thriving and is now deciding that it needs a bigger pot as can be seen by the roots poking out. Come summer I will transplant it, winter will render it dormant for a few months.
I feed these bonsai once a week which is why in season their leaves stay so lush (albeit this bonsai leafless going into winter mode)and beautiful and they grow so well, my trees are all between 1 and 2 years old.
Nature the incredible.
I trust you have a wonderful Tuesday.
Love, light and blessings.
Cheer$;)
