Early Summer Swarming Season Begins

Hey everyone, how I miss the good ol days of $58k bitcoin and dtube who remembers those? Either way I'm back for a little to attempt another post and what a time to do so with an epic new swarm freshly caught a mere 2 weeks after the beginning of spring.

The unforgettable sound of thousands of bees assembling together in unison to collectively move into their new cozy dwelling.

In season, the old queen takes around 60% of her swarm with her and leaves around 40% of the existing bees and new queen in the old hive to procreate and form another strong colony.

Why dtube as earlier mentioned? So much easier to post videos and I took a really nice one of these incredible creatures moving in.

I have started the venture of going into the honey business alone, excitement abounds as this is my first swarm caught a mere day after baiting this brooder box, wow what great timing.

This has to be one of the most awe inspiring marvels of nature and like a water flowing, upstream they pour into this hive, an excited BUZZZzzz which can be heard for yards away only to be described and miraculous.

These 5 supered up boxes we recently put at this new spot in the hope of getting a better harvest then seasons gone by, these are bees from my partnership but I'm sure as time goes by I will be able to buy these out from my partner, he is now 74 and tells me that he's "getting too old for this business".

The seasons starts now and with almost 30 hives ready collecting honey we should hopefully harvest atleast a couple hundred kilograms of honey within the coming weeks. It promises to be a great season.

Nature the incredible.
I trust you have an incredible week.
Love, light and blessings.
Cheers 🍻

Excitement of the swarm arriving is something one never forgets, rewarding you had the box ready to invite them in.

What a rare treat finding pure honey, trees are in full flower offering plenty to settle them in.

What taste comes from the honey on your small holdings Craig?

Light amber honey typically sweeter yet slight taste of citrus sounds superb! Amazing the colour variation in honey depending hives pollen in a region.

How I miss enjoying straight from the comb, I must look inland bee farming, what they sell in stores is hit and miss down our way.

For pure honey 500g jar around R130 to R150, problem is finding people who keep it pure with no mixing or blending.

How are you dear friend @craigcryptoking good morning
It's true, who doesn't miss those moments of high bitcoin prices, I hope those times return soon
It's great that you started your own honey business, and I hope that at some point you can compare your partner's share.
I wish you a lot of success
