LPUD SEPTEMBER 2024: INDEPENDENCE DAY EDITION!

avatar

Today is LEO Power Up Day (LPUD) and it’s also Costa Rica’s Independence Day!!! I haven’t powered up LEO since last December, and it took me 9 months to get up to 150!!! I have to admit I wasn’t that active these past few months, but for the last few weeks, I felt very compelled to write! I think that slowly but steadily, I’m getting motivation back again!

As many of you know, I create content related to Splinterlands, and it’s kind of hard to write to me about other things for some reason. I know writing is a skill that needs to be “practiced” in order to perfect it. But sometimes, I just don’t have the will to do it. Additionally, I feel more comfortable writing in Spanish, my mother language, than in English, but I think I don’t do it that bad. That is so because it takes me much longer time to proof-read what I write. With that being said, I enjoy writing in English, too. I enjoy it more than write in German language, mostly because that is a language that it’s really a pain in the rear to me. However, that’s a topic for another post.

Anyway, I got my 150 LEO today from my last week’s article and I was pretty happy that after 9 months I could do another LPUD. So here it is, I was 472 LEO since December, and now I’m 623.7 LEO!

I didn’t think that could be possible to be honest. I have passed for several periods of feeling down, and I couldn’t find a “reason” to write anything at all. What has changed in the last couple of months? Well, I can’t point out a single reason, to be honest. Maybe it’s the weather, or maybe my mind felt less cloudy. Now I have the need to sit down and write stuff, even if it doesn’t make any sense. Well, at least I hope THIS writing does make sense! What I mean is that sometimes I try to write the hard way, however, when I force it, it doesn’t flow quite right. On the other hand, when I let myself loose, I achieve my writing goals much easier. So far it worked out pretty well!

As a side note, and as I mentioned before, today’s is Costa Rica’s Independence Day. It’s pretty awesome that this year both days coincided! This year we celebrated 203 years as an independent country. We are a very different country now that it was in 1821. I have to admit we have a different set of problems now to be addressed. I find also pretty symbolic that today it was also LPUD because Inleo is a project with a great future, and in my opinion, a great tool that helps us with our financial independence. I know that maybe that way of thinking it’s a bit of a stretch, but I feel it like so, and time will tell if my financial decisions were aligned with my intuition.

Thank you very much for reading my ramblings and I hope you have all enjoyed your LPUD too! A hug from Costa Rica!
