The Murad Token 2049 Talk

It's quite crazy how quickly things move in Crypto and how many narratives come and go. Last week and still now, pretty much all the talk of the town is about the Token2049 Talk of @MustStopMurad about the memecoin Supercycle.

Before seeing his presentation which is very convincing I did see him in a panel there about Memecoins where at the end they asked each of the speakers about their Memecoin picks. That was the first time I heard of SPX6900 which brings a gimmick I like so it aims to mock the S&P 500 kind of similar how Gamestop outperformed everything some years back just because a cult following saw fun it that.

However, at that time some days after the presentation and the token already went from 20 Million to 150 Million+ and I wasn't going to chase it. As always it was just the start and ended up going as high at 700 Milion. Anything that goes up this quickly to these numbers inevitably with 530 Million of potential profit taking and only 8.3 Million liquidity to do so is inevitable to see a correction. I'm quite sure many are looking to grab some of it if it comes back down so either patience will be needed to do so or it just needs to be accepted to have missed out.

In a way he has a similar strategy than I have (although with exponentially higher stakes) in having a portfolio with different gambles on coins with an eye to hold and see where it goes. Only MOG is one that I also have in my portfolio for a while and I also at some point had Popcat missing out on re-buying lower and I have had my eye on BITCOIN (harrypotterobamasonic10inu).

Murad Portfolio

Basically it has become somewhat of a self-fulfilling prophecy as his talk pretty much sold a lot of people to buy into his coins similar how @CrashiusClay69 managed to pump the narrative of each chain having a main Memecoin mostly being successful with Brett and recently shilled $Bull on Tron causing 1 Gold candle going from 0.0035$ to 0.33$ almost doing an 100x in a couple of days. Before him is was mainly Ansem who got in early on WIF following some coins he shilled going up.

So the main question remains how long the Murad narrative will continue and if he will start using his new-found fame to make easy $$$ getting into certain coins early with other wallets to shill it on his Twitter knowing a wall of money will come in on it. For now, it looks like he's not selling of his bags despite the pump which at least is somewhat assuring. The same things pretty much happened with RoaringKitty and the Gamestop.

There are millions of Memecoins out there and nobody really knows which one pump as it's almost fully up to these handful of influencers who once made a great call to pump the next one. So to really win, you mainly need to get into one of them before they get picked up which is easier said than done.

Last Week Portfolio Performance

I didn't buy or sell any coins last week. My biggest Holding $BRETT continues to trend around the same range and I kind of feel like it might be time for the next hype fomo phase where it breaks out. At the same time though, the narrative around Base has seems to have cooled down as it's all about SUI now.

When it comes down to $JASON it has been exactly a month since he tweeted that it was time to show what he has been working on for the last 3 months which on its own was a tweet in reaction to the @zachxbt tweet calling him out as a scammer and that tweet was front runner by a big buyer who dumped on the sellers.

This was followed by mods on Telegram exposing calling him out for the pump & dump while chilling their own token $ham (astrochimp) which by now also looked like a pump&dump rug coin. That was followed by a reaction of a new telegram being created and some tweets which again were frontrun followed by a bit more activity from Jason on the discord but otherwise complete silence about the plans he couldn't wait to show a month ago.

So it's all a bit of a shitshow even though I refuse to believe that there is actually intentions to scam as it makes no sense whatsoever. I kind of could understand the excuse that he's got a new single (which isn't as good as most of his older work if you ask me) which takes most of his time. Most likely it will be the same pattern happening all over with some kind of announcement on $Jason which was front-runned by a big pump. I'm willing to just hold and sit through all this bullshit as it should not be that had to get on the level of $MOTHER at some point which now is at 85 Million. At the same thing this could all be just hoping with Jason Derulo being a major douchebag.

Two of the cat coins on Solana did best with a +122% pump on Vcat and a +167% pump on Happicat which helped the portfolio to be slightly higher compared to the week before still sitting above 10k in value overall. LOA which I see (saw) as a coin with a potential to form a cult around it kind of screwed up by releasing a separate version on Solana which makes things more complicated as buyers now need to gamble on which one will be the winner decreasing the chance that there will be one.

New Week Watchlists!

If there is one coin I would have to put my money on for the coming week, it would be Ponke which is due for a pump at some point and also still at a nice vertical support line. At the same time if it breaks, there is also a risk at a dump.

Conclusion

I'm still having plenty of fun with these Memecoins especially now that some start to pump again. I will see how it continues to evolve. A week is an eternity in meme coin world so I'll be back in 7 days with the next update...
