Not all too much action on the Cup matches during the midweek and I don't anticipate too much big betting action in the league. So far I only took positions on 1 match which were shared in the Discord.

Westerlo vs Charleroi

Westerlo last week lost deserved with 1-0 against Stvv in a match where they were simply unable to bring that much. The week before at home against Standard, they also played less forward compared to their usual style which is one where offense is the best defense. So overall I'm less sold on Westerlo after their great start under their new coach. They are 4 points clear of a relegation spot and on Charleroi and with 2 weeks left to go, a win would make it sure that they are safe while a draw would not be the end of the world. So I'm not nearly as convinced that the match will the a usual fun forward style. They also still have Vermant and Stassin who are the first 2 strikers injured with Frigan dissapointing so far. Charleroi is a team that should have the quality but it simply hasn't come out and week after week they just keep putting up weak performances while their coach stays on board. It's hads to back them given what they are put on the pitch but at the same time it's hard to oppose them as I do see them as a team that should not get in trouble. With matches left against Cercle and AA Gent, a win is really needed for them today if they still want to avoid the playdowns. Their main weakness remains scoring goals. This is another match where I'm just going to wait and see what happens before potentially taking a position. No Pre-Game Bets
