RWDM vs Antwerp
Antwerp played a mid-week match and didn't get further than a 1-1 away against Antwerp. Their form has decreased and they haven't played a really convincing dominant match in the last 4 since Vermeeren left to Atletico. This despote winning against Club Brugge and Standard both by 1 goal while being the weaker team. They also lost Muja this week which gives them an option less offensively and Balikwisha & Coulibaly both are still injured. RWDM is in the relegation zone with 5 losses in a row and a draw last week against Standard. This did include a 1-6 loss against Club Brugge. They do have the capability of scoring goals but defensively are the least secure team in the league with 49 goals against. Their fans also were responsible for making so that one of their matches didn't get finished. Despite the weaker form of Antwerp who especially in away matches tend to struggle, it's hard to go with RWDM given the current bad streak they are in. I am going in with a lean on Antwerp in this match but would need to see more and get some confirmation before actually pulling the trigger.

Mechelen vs Genk
Mechelen has been a team under their new coach with a more defensive approach yet they still have gone over against the line and have a 1.48xg in the last 3 matches. They managed to get themselves out of the danger zone with 3 wins and a draw in their last 4 matches but none of those matches really had the performance which actually was that good. They now have Konaté back and acquired Slimani who should be way better than Lauberback in the striker position. Genk fell out of the top 6 recently with 2 draws and 2 losses in their recent 4 matches. This inclued a narrow but deserved loss against Union which is no shame, A late loss away against OHL in a match where they had many missings, A draw in the derby against stvv where Sor got injured and Tolu showed to be too weak and a couple of red cards for them. In the Draw against cercle, they also had too many missings. Right now El Khannouss is back along with Paintsil but they do miss Sor, Fadera and Munoz who left. On paper they should be the better team but against Mechelen who took some confidence due to good results it might be a challenge. Pretty much any bet that I looks at, I have a counter-argument or something I don't like. The only statistic that really stands out is that Mechelen at home has 72% of their goals in the 2nd half (1.5 on average) while Genk has 65.6% of their goals in the 2nd half (1.75 on avergage). So a 2H over bet might become an option. For now,

Charleroi vs Anderlecht
Charleroi pretty much week after week has been putting up bad performances way below what this team should be capable of and it's been clear that Mazzu has stayed on as coach way too long similar to how De Roeck stayed too long in Westerlo. It has gotten to a point where they are now in a play-down spot in 13th place and a difficult match today against Anderlecht. They also are still without Zorgane who is one of their better players in the midfield.Right now, there is simply no reasons or indication for Charleroi to put up a good perfromance out of nowhere today. Anderlecht currently is in 2nd place in the league fighting to somewhat keep up with Union who are 11 points ahead. It however is pretty clear that Anderlecht isn't a real title contender as they simply haven't been on the same level as Union and Club Brugge. At times they show good things especially early in the match but they rarely keep it up for 90 minutes and often are way too arrogant thinking they are better than what they really are when in the lead. I do expect Charleroi to try and play on a result in a match that doesn't look good and Anderlecht overall to be the better team with the initiative. Anderlecht ranks 2nd in the 1H standing while Charleroi is dead last. This made me take just 0.1 unit on
Anderlecht 1H -0.25 @ 2.137. Anderlecht in their last 6 away games on average only managed to create 2.5 corners while Charleroi in their last 6 home matches on average just created 3.5. This made me take what was available with just a 0.066 unit bet on

AA Gent vs Cercle Brugge
AA Gent has been knocked out of the title race as they simply lost too much quality especially offensively. This actually has got them at the bottom of the xg standings in the last 3 matches with just 0.56xg on average. They also are without Kums in this match who is a key player. In the last 4 matches they failed to get a win with 3 Losses and a draw not even against the best teams. They do have Watanabe back in defense and Also Mitrovic who should bring extra experience to the team. Cercle Brugge is a team who play an annoying style pretty much refusing to play and kicking a lot of balls forward. This requires adjustment of the opponents. This is where Stvv last week failed as they just played their own game which got them crushed by a 4-1 score in the end which is rather atypical for Cercle since they generally are an under team. This especially away where they went 8W-1L-3P against the under. AA Gent has been an over team at home but this including stats when they still had Cuypers, Orban, Fotana and with Kums in the team. So given the massive xg decline of AA Gent and no real reason why Cercle all of the sudden became an over team I took 0.340 units on
Under 3 @ 1.886 along with 0.160 units in
1st Half Under 1.25 @ 1.869. AA Gent won't make the mistake not to adjust to the Cercle Play style and I do see them as a bigger favorite going into this match. Cercle away this season also only managed to win 1 first half. 0.15 units on
