It was a slow but ok start with just 3 bets of which 2 won and 1 pushed for a +0.19 unit profit on the European Matches. I'm looking forward to the weekend with 8 more games to cover starting tonight with the first one...

Westerlo vs Sint-Truiden

Westerlo invested a lot before this season but so far things turned into somewhat of a nightmare as the team hasn't really clicked. This leaves them in 2nd last position with not a single really convincing performance yet. They however did manage to win last week away against OHL in a match where they played fully on defense with an eye to take a point. That match had 0.26 - 0.08 expected goals in the first half. A penalty and a counter goal gave them the win on what was overall a pretty poor performance again with no conviction which leaves their coach on for at least another week. I do see Westelo as a team with the potential to set a run but something fundamental needs to change which for me is quite clearly their coach. However, a couple of wins despite not playing well could spark better confidence and performances. So far though I'm not willing to take a gamble on them. Stvv was a team with much more questions but they have shown to be able to put up some solid performances and they are right up there in the midfield. They are an under team since they have a hard time creating chances and finishing aside from some penalties or distance shots from Koita. I can't really see Westerlo play the same way at home against Stvv as away against OHL where they played for a 0-0 even though that probably would be the best strategy a Stvv lost away to Leuven that way with 4-0. Stvv generally is not the team to lay back. The + line and 2.5 total make perfect sense and the only bet I'm considering is a 1H under since both are higher on the 2H ratio. Westerlo at home has yet to have a match Under 9 corners while Stvv only had 2 out of 6 away go under 9. The 9 number seems key with many matches (4) landing on that number. My aim is to wait a minute and potentially get some in on Over 8.5 at 1.8+ odds. For now, No Pre-Game Bets
