I didn't have any bets in the Champions League match from Club Brugge yesterday and honestly don't expect too much action today as I missed out on some of the early odds. Here are the 4 Thursday Matches...
Union vs AS Roma
Union (82M) in both the league and in Europe continues to have the same issue that they don't create enough chances and aren't efficient enough. After 3 matches in Europe the only managed to score once and have 1 point. It's not that they play defensive or anything even though they don't get that many xg against so I'm still always leaning toward the over being in a position where I just can't take it. AS Roma (332M) is only 12th in the league and they took 4 points in Europe losing the only home match they had so far. As always, Union doesn't play in their own station. In the league it has shown that their lines still seem to be too favorable so the only real option for me is to back Roma. However they rarely to never win away from home so I'm just going to keep sidelined. I'm also not sure how much Roma will rotate while I do expect the strongest 11 for Union.

AA Gent vs Omonia
AA Gent continues to be playing quite poorly and there is starting to be some frustration toward the coach from the fans. In the weekend they didn't get further than a 0-0 draw away against Beerschot. They had a lot of luck so far as they have taken a lot of points but they are still on my list of teams to oppose. At the same time, AA Gent (68M) does seem to perform better at home and there is a player value gap compared to Omonia (19M). AA Gent so far took 1 Win (1-0 at home against Molde (32M) and 1 Loss without chance away against Chelsea. Omonia had a 4-0 home win against Vikingur (3.5M) and a 2-0 away loss against Hearts (20M). So I certainly understand why AA Gent is the -0.75 favorite. Also here I don't trust Gent as a team and will leave all bets potentially for in-game.

Rigas vs Anderlecht
Anderlecht (109M) over the weekend played an excellent match at home against Kortrijk but the week before they were absolutely horrible against better team Club Brugge showing no drive whatsoever. In Europe they are co-leading the standings with 9 on 9 and they are up against Rigas (9M) who took just 1 point. However, that point came at home against Galatasaray so they certainly aren't without chance. Odds are too low for me to take Anderlecht and I don't know enough about Rigas to back them.

LASK vs Cercle Brugge
Cercle Brugge (56M) has improved in the previous matches after a poor season start taking 2 wins in a row in the league. These came after they played a full b-squad away against Vinkingur which was a match that ended in a 3-1 loss. So the main question today is if they will pull this again. Based on what the coach said, they will have a competitive 11 starting. From the looks of it, their Austrian Coach has plenty of family and friends who live close to the stadion to come and watch so I do expect another match with good drive from Cercle. LASK (39M) so far took a 2-2 home draw against Djugarden (19M) and a 2-0 loss away against Ljublijana(10M). LASK rarely takes clean sheets while Cercle has enough quality in the offense for me to take a tiny 0.1 unit bet on
Cercle Brugge Team Total Over 1 @ 1.890. I will just keep it at that for now and leave all options open to take in-game bets
