Well, the presale of Chaos Legion edition packs has begun and so are the vouchers being dropped for holding and staking the SPS tokens!!!!
As usual, here is my weekly blog for the Splinterlands SHARE YOUR BATTLE Challenge with the theme being Dragons.

Dragons summoners and monsters play an important role in the wins for me as a battler and there are many which I can take out the names like summoners like Daria Dragonscale, Drake of Arnaak and monsters like Dragon Jumper, Manticore, Fire Spitter, Lightning Dragon, Golden Dragon, Black Dragon, The Invigilator, Robo-Dragon Knight, oh the list is vast and continues to grow with each edition announced.
I would like to present the details of a battle involving some of these monsters and summoners mentioned above to win the battle.

Summoner - Daria Dragonscale:

Well, Daria Dragonscale is the only Dragon summoner I use as I have invested heavily on this and haven't tried to acquire other Dragon summoners as I am a melee attack heavy battler.
Daria Dragonscale at level 5, covers most of the leveled up monsters I have without truncating their attack or abilities and that makes it a favorite summoner for me.

Battle and Lineup:

As we can see, the battle was with medium MANA cap of 21 and there was single rule set of Close Range, meaning, even the ranged attack monsters can also attack from First position.
With those details, I selected Daria Dragonscale summoner and monsters combination was as below:

Lineup:

1. Flesh Golem:

Since the MANA cap was less, I thought a healing monster at the front would be a good option and hence, went ahead with this as I didn't plan to use a tank healer.

2. Screeching Vulture:

This 3 MANA cost monster is the First choice for me whenever I use Earth Splinter as this gives high attack, has high speed and can keep increasing it's health because of scavenger ability and always keeps looking for monster with lowest health because of the opportunity ability.

3. Dragon Jumper:

Another opportunity monster which is regular in my lineups is this Dragon Jumper, when these 2 combine and work together, they almost take out a monster since both always look out for monsters with lowest health.

4. Brownie:

I preferred to use this inspiring monster since I used 3 melee attack monsters and this also increases the speed of all the monsters I use, which will be an added advantage in low to medium MANA cap battles like this.

5. Furious Chicken:

Lastly, I used this Zero MANA cost monster to cover the back end for any sneak attack.

Opponent used Dragon Splinter as well with monsters Pelacor Conjurer, Fiendish Harpy, Silvershield Assassin, Grenadier and Venari Crystalsmith.

Battle:

Round 1:

Low MANA cap battles are always trickier, with one hit a good monster can go off the lineup or a very low MANA cost monster can be a game changer.
In this battle round, there were 4 monsters which removed.
It all started with Grenadier getting removed by opportunity monster Dragon Jumper being the one with high speed and then Screeching Vulture reduced the health of Fiendish Harpy to 1.
On the other side of the battle, Furious Chicken was the target for Fiendish Harpy and Silvershield Assassin removed the Brownie to reduce the speed and attack of the monsters I used.

Round 2:

Fiendish Harpy was the next to go with another opportunity attack from Dragon Jumper removing it.
Silvershield Assassin poisoned the Dragon Jumper but, I was still on course to win the battle with healing Flesh Golem at the front.

Round 3:

Poison took out the Dragon Jumper, but the interesting thing was, Silvershield Assassin failed to attack Screeching Vulture in both the attacks in this round.

Round 4:

The big relief in this round was the removal of tank healer Venari Crystalsmith to stop the front monster getting healed.
Although Silvershield Assassin was able to attack Screeching Vulture, there was no poison poured.

Round 5 and 6:

Silvershield Assassin was able to attack Screeching Vulture one more time in round 5 and Flesh Golem failed to attack Pelacor Conjurer in the same round, but the same got removed in round 6, bringing opponent's last monster Silvershield Assassin to the front.

Round 7 and 8:

Silvershield Assassin got removed in round 8 to end the battle with not so easy win for me.
This earmarks the importance of opportunity monsters from Dragon and other summoner categories and also scavenging of Screeching Vulture was also important here.

Questions and Answers:

Did my strategy work? What will I try differently next time?

Yes, no usage of a tank healing monster to use couple of opportunity monsters did work for me to get rid of the tank healer and other monsters from opponent's lineup and that gave a win for me in the end.

Do I like DRAGONS? Why or why not?

Definitely I like those and those are the core part of my wins as I love using opportunity monsters more and more and Dragon Jumper is my favorite among them all.
The Dragons are something which constitutes more percentage in my wins because, I always go ahead with Dragons with Earth Splinter and combination of Dragon Jumper and Screeching Vulture always gets out almost a monster in each round and with Flesh Golem at the front, I have the freedom of using a inspiring Brownie or couple of ranged attack monsters in the backend according to the situation.

Have you checked your vouchers airdrop as the same are being credited already? Although it's wise to collect all those vouchers for 30 days and buy at once to maximize the benefits, people may start selling those right now if they are not planning to buy packs from presale.
Thanks for the continued support as always from all of you guys and wishing you happy voucher earning and battling :)

Have a great week :)

Thank you @sayee.

Yes, Brighton Bloom with flying ability for all monsters is good for all those earthquake battles.

Mylor Crowling is my favorite as I am a melee attack monsters lover and it's hard to win against it when more melee attack monsters are used in the lineup.

Thank you, have a great day :)
