A Very Fun Fill Day contest #195
Children's Days are usually celebrated every 27 May in my country.on that day, if you see the excitement in the faces of children all around. Although some are usually sad, maybe because their parents traveled and nobody to take them out.
On my side, I don't have kids but I have plenty of them around me because am a lover of kids, so on Children's Day I take them out as if they are my children or relatives.
The last children fell on a working day, I was happy because I wasn't buoyant enough to take them out and I didn't know how to convince them if it was my neighbor's kids or friends' kids, I could easily come up with an excuse but with my nephew's and niece is a different ball game. Those kids won't let you rest until you take them out or buy something for them.
So when they asked me to take them out, I told them on Sunday I would do that, they should pray I have money by then

On Sunday by the grace of God, money came plus some I collected from their parents, we are in this outing together.
So I asked them where would they like to go for a treat.
I started with the smallest, God'stime what would
you like, he said buy me coco pop and cornflakes, I want to watch JimJam, this one is very easy. I asked him if that was all he wanted and he nodded. Then I asked the madam of the house, Flora what she wanted she said I wanted to go to the Spar (a shopping mall); buy ice cream and popcorn, and watch a movie. I was like ok but am going to take one last person and next time I will take another do we agree, they all shouted yes.
So who is going to speak next, Jayden raised his hand and I said alright, let's hear you. Jayden where do you want me to take you all to, I won't have allowed Jayden to speak for them. But it's well.
Jayden said I want to go swimming and go to an amusement park, I want to use their swing, spinner, merry-go-round, and slides. I was shocked at how he was mentioning everything he wanted to do there and I quickly stopped him halfway cause the way that boy was going, we will trek back home. I didn't ask him if that was all because I knew that wasn't all.
So I took them to spar first and bought ice cream and popcorn and paid for a movie ticket when we were done with the movies, I jokingly asked them where is our next stop, and they all shouted amusement park, so I booked a cab to take us there. While we were waiting for the cab, they wanted balloon, which I got for them.

We all head straight to an amusement park, on getting there, everywhere was full of kids having fun. I wanted to change the venue but they insist on this particular amusement park. So I paid the gate fee and they wanted their faces painted with a flowery pattern, I obliged them. Next, we moved to pay for mercy go-rounds and slides, much later we went swimming at the pool. I made sure they had fun, after which I needed to have fun myself so I took them to a restaurant to have a decent meal cause these kids and their sweet tooths. That is how I celebrated Children's Day with my niece and nephews and it was fun all the way, there was no dull moment with them at all.
Thank you for taking the time to read
Always a fun-filled moment with children. No dull moments 🥰
Making sure they have fun is fun itself which you had. Thanks for sharing, @coolbabe88
I think that a country that celebrates it's children is a wise policy. In spirit, I thank God for my precious two boys every day. The closest equivalent is my Province's new holiday called Family Day here in Canada.
