My Uncle That Is Constantly Misunderstood.
There are some people in your life which sometimes you just can't help but imagine why they have so many haters. Sometimes you have them either as your celebrity or even your family members, as for me, it is one of my family members. If there has been someone that has played a very major role in shaping and changing how I generally view things about life, it is my uncle.
My precious uncle, Uncle Bolaji is someone I can confidently say is the most misunderstood person on earth. Sometimes I even ask, why is it that people misunderstood him like that. For me personally, I will say he has a good heart so why is it that most of the time even despite his act of kindness he always shows sometimes, he is still misunderstood.
One of the major aspect of his life that is misunderstood is the fact that people always see him as been proud and arrogant. They feel it is Always difficult to approach him as they feel he is always full of himself but I don't really think so. I strongly believe that he is just a principal man. Most of the time, principled people are always misunderstood to be proud and I guess this my uncle, Mr Bolaji, falls into that category.
According to the little story I heard about him, he grew up in a tough environment and that is because he lost his father at a very tender age. So he has to hustle for himself and not for himself but also for his siblings behind him. Mr Bolaji is known to have sent himself to school by himself and trained himself financially. Now he has become a very rich man that is well respected in the society but his wealth and success didn't come easily, it came from his sweat and hardwork.
Probably due to what my uncle has faced most especially in the past during his days of struggles and hardship, he is very careful of the type of people he brings in his circle. He is very selective in nature and I actually guess this perspective about him has been misinterpreted by a whole lot of people. Most of the time, he hardly attends those family meetings and he attend when it is strictly important. This particular behaviour of him was misinterpret by a whole lot of people as nene proud and arrogant.
Most of the time whenever I remember his story, I am always inspired about the fact that we should not be quckl to misinterprete people probably because they choose a particular pattern of life. You might not know what they might have faced in the past. When I was still small, I always despise rich people as been proud but as time goes on, I have come to learn that it should not be so because I didn't know what they might have faced when they were poor. We should not be quick to judge people.
