Three Tune Tuesday! a special occasion to share three songs, three melodies that have captivated us, fascinated us, entertained us, amazed us or simply left an impression on us. As a band, Conducta Viciosa naturally has many influences, and some of these go back to the classics of hard rock and pioneers of heavy metal, on this occasion we will talk about none other than: Deep Purple, a legendary group that has undoubtedly marked the history of rock forever.
¡Martes de tres tonadas! una ocasión especial para compartir tres canciones, tres melodías que nos hayan cautivado, fascinado, entretenido, asombrado o simplemente dejaron una impresión en nosotros. Como banda, Conducta Viciosa naturalmente tiene muchas influencias, y algunas de éstas se remontan a los clásicos del hard rock y pioneros del heavy metal, en esta ocasión hablaremos de nada más y nada menos que: Deep Purple, una agrupación legendaria que sin duda ha marcado la historia del rock para siempre.
1 - Burn
This song is a great example of the great energy that Deep Purple's music transmits, even though this album was not recorded with the classic lineup (Gillan, Blackmore, Paice, Glover) David Coverdale had a great performance alongside Glenn Hughes to turn this self-titled album and this song "Burn" into a classic of the band. The song "Burn" begins with a very rocking and contagious riff, the piece has a fast rhythm, seasoned from beginning to end by Ian Paice's incredible drum fills (one of the most outstanding points of the song, in my opinion). opinion) and then give way to an epic middle section full of melodic arrangements with a neo-classical touch and a dazzling guitar solo courtesy of Ritchie Blackmore, which turn this piece into a memorable rock monument.

La canción "Burn" comienza con un riff muy rockero y contagioso, la pieza lleva un ritmo movido, aderezado de principio a fin por los increíbles "fills" de batería de Ian Paice (uno de los puntos más resaltantes de la canción, en mi opinión) para luego dar paso a una épica sección media llena de arreglos melódicos con un toque neo-clásico y un deslumbrante solo de guitarra cortesía de Ritchie Blackmore, que convierten esta pieza en un memorable monumento del rock.
2 - Highway Star
Another very busy song from the band, this time, with the classic lineup with Ian Gillan as lead vocalist, it is one of the band's most iconic songs, in a somewhat similar way to "Burn" it begins with a fairly heavy riff (remember which was the 70s) and then in the middle section it surprises with wonderful melodic guitar and keyboard arrangements. One of the characteristics that makes this band so great and unique is precisely that synergy and the battle of solos that exist between the keyboard and the guitar in many of their songs, a delight to the ear!
Otra canción bastante movida de la banda, esta vez sí, con la alineación clásica con Ian Gillan como vocalista principal, es uno de los temas más icónicos de la banda, de manera algo similar a "Burn" comienza con un riff bastante pesado (recordemos que eran los 70) y luego en la sección media sorprende con maravillosos arreglos melódicos de guitarra y teclado. Una de las características que hace de esta banda tan genial y única es justamente esa sinergia y la batalla de solos que existen entre el teclado y la guitarra en muchas de sus canciones ¡todo un deleite al oído!
3 - Child in Time
If you ask me, this is one of the most epic rock songs of all time, at the level of songs like "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin or "Down by The River" by Neil Young. Starting softly with the keyboard and Gillan's voice singing subtly, almost in a whisper, the intensity of the song increases until reaching a euphoric climax during a mind-blowing guitar solo by Ritchie Blackmore, something that simply cannot be explained in words! You must listen to it ! definitely a masterpiece of rock, and of music in general, at least in my opinion. Thank you for joining us here! See you soon.
Sí me preguntan, esta es una de las canciones más épicas del rock de todos los tiempos, al nivel de temas como "Stairway to Heaven" de Led Zepellin ó "Down by The River" de Neil Young. Comenzando suave con el teclado y la voz de Gillan cantando sutilmente, casi en susurros, la intensidad de la canción va incrementando hasta alcanzar un eufórico clímax durante un alucinante sólo de guitarra de Ritchie Blackmore, algo que sencillamente no puede explicarse con palabra ¡deben escucharla! definitivamente toda una obra maestra del rock, y de la música en general, al menos en mi opinión. ¡gracias por acompañarnos hasta acá! ¡nos vemos pronto!
