Greetings dear friends of the hive! especially to all music lovers, this time we will travel back in time, approximately 10 years ago, an important moment for the band since it was the first time we recorded an original song with an audio interface. If you visited our previous post you will have noticed that our style has evolved a lot, but the spirit and desire to make music are the same! One of the people who has undoubtedly been a fundamental part of this project is our good friend and excellent musician Rommel Gonzáles, better known in Hive as @brujulamusical who, like a brother of music, has always provided his support, being precisely the one who facilitated At that time the audio interface and some of the instruments that were used to record this demo, which is a song with a particular story. ¡Saludos queridos amigos de la colmena! en especial a todos los amantes de la música, en esta ocasión viajaremos en el tiempo hacia el pasado, aproximadamente 10 años atrás, un momento importate para la banda ya que fué la primera vez que grabamos una canción original con una interfase de audio. Si visitaron nuestro post anterior se habrán dado cuenta que nuestro estilo ha evolucionado bastante ¡pero el espíritu y las ganas de hacer música son las mismas!. Una de las personas que indudablemente ha sido parte fundamental en este proyecto es nuestro buen amigo y excelente músico Rommel Gonzáles, mejor conocido en Hive como @brujulamusical quien, cómo un hermano de la música, siempre ha brindado su apoyo, siendo él precisamente quien facilitó en aquél entonces la interfase de audio y algunos de los intrumentos que se utilizaron para grabar esta maqueta, la cual es una canción con una historia particular ¿quieren saber cuál es? ¡acómpañennos!
The story of this song begins with the anecdote that no one wanted to lend Julio Palomo (guitarist and singer of the band) his guitar, since he had a bad reputation for breaking the strings a lot, reaching the point that even at several parties and meetings where there were instruments, they denied him the opportunity to play due to this bad reputation that had already spread among the town's guitarists, so he was motivated, inspired by the disappointment of the refusal to compose this song, with an interesting analogy in its lyrics between the relationship between a musician and his guitar, comparing it to a romantic relationship, all of this on a blues base in the key of E major, thus giving birth to one of the first original songs from Conducta Viciosa. In the photo above you can see Carlos Marcano (RIP), founding drummer of the band playing the bass and in the middle with the blue shirt Rommel Gonzáles @brujulamusical.
La historia de esta canción nace con la anécdota de que a Julio Palomo (guitarrista y cantante de la banda) nadie quería prestarle la guitarra, ya que tenía mala fama de romperles mucho las cuerdas, llegando hasta el punto que incluso en varias fiestas y reuniones dónde habían instrumentos, le negaron la oportunidad de tocar debido a esta mala reputación que se había ya esparcido entre los guitarristas del pueblo, por lo que se motivó inspirado por la decepción del rechazo a componer esta canción, con una analogía interesante en su letra entre la relación de un músico y su guitarra, comparándola con una relación amorosa de pareja, todo esto sobre una base de blues en la tonalidad de Mi mayor, naciendo así una de las primeras canciones originales de Conducta Viciosa. En la foto arriba se puede ver a Carlos Marcano (Q.E.P.D) baterista fundador de la banda tocando el bajo y en el medio con la camisa azul a Rommel Gonzáles @brujulamusical.
