Value For Money, How To Buy Value
Money is a scarce resource that is not easily made, which is why careful spending is necessary. There are those who carefully spend their money, and I believe that I fall within that category. Before buying anything of value, I take the time to research, consider reviews, and weigh the potential benefits of what I'm buying. This is called getting value for money.
Every product that a manufacturer brings to market has some sort of unique value which sets it apart fromm other brand competitors. This is called value proposition. It's what everyone of us looks for when buying something in the first place. If a product is not worth the price I'm paying, then I see no reason to buy it in the first place.
We all have our preferences; what we look for when buying a product or using a service. For some people, brand name is what catches their eye, and they will choose a product based solely on the brand name. However, this can be deceptive, as brands do not always offer the best products. There may be competing brands that offer equally good or even better products at a lower price.
Brand name can also cloud customers' judgment, and manufacturers can use this to their advantage by charging unreasonably high prices for their products. Businesses are primarily concerned with increasing brand awareness and encouraging consumers to purchase their products or services.
This is why they invest so heavily in promotion, including advertising, public relations, sales promotions etc. Personally, I am not that much into brand names when it comes to products. I only care about what I can derive from the products and their durability, as a way of appreciating the money I'm spending.
However, we all have different preferences which is why you are likely to come across many different products under one brand name that serve either the same or different purposes to suit different people. When it comes to buying, your decision-making should be based on research. It is important to do your own research before making a final purchase decision.
Research can help you see reviews or customer feedbacks, come across different products, and possibly compare prices. Additionally, I have learned that sometimes you need to be willing to pay more to get value. Not always, but good brands know how to offer value, which often leads to higher prices due to the use of higher-quality materials.
Additionally, brand reputation should be considered. This is different from just brand name. Brand reputation is built over many years of operation and consistent delivery of high-quality products. Using this information, I believe you can get better value for your money. Lastly, I recommend checking the product warranty. In all, it's always best staying informed about any product you are considering buying. This will increase your chances of getting value for your money.
Since money is scarce at this time, buying any commodity in the market requires a good scrutiny so as to get quality for your money. I check for expiry date also and product reputation. Thanks for sharing.
I agree, careful planning and scrutiny is essential when buying especially when it's a new product. I do spend more time when I'm out for shopping, you will not like me when you go for shopping with me..😂, I check a lot of things
Now dierr the way the economy dey hard dierr we buy things of need and not wants ooo but regardless once a while we buy items on impulse which ever way the brand and high quality is looked out for first
Budgeting is necessary especially when you are planning for shopping, it saves you from impulse buying.
I'm glad you compared various reasons vs considerable or reasonable justification for buying products. Well done
