Real Impact from the Digital World: Hive Borehole Impact in Kofi Agyei School

The Empowers Communities Project has once again highlighted the fact that the Blockchain technology is not just a financial instrument, it is a force for social good. Through the project we have been able to provide solutions to communities that faced water challenges with clean and accessible water. The initiative is more than just the provision of water infrastructure effort; it reflects Hive's ability to bring about transformation in the real world.

During the recent launch of the 20th borehole at Kofi Agyei Senior High, the school's Assistant Head of Domestic expressed her deepest gratitude to the Hive ecosystem and went on to speak about how fast the project was implemented all in all faster than she expected. While speaking to the Hive team, she explained how the borehole would bring about a change in the daily lives of students, staff, and others.

She highlighted other challenges that the school still needed assistance with, including infrastructure to support the school. We are pleased with the milestones reached and how with help of Hive important issues such as clean water has been provided to water stressed communities improve lives, health, and education.
