Visit to a heritage village | Santa Fe de Antioquia, Colombia
Hello friends! Lovers of pictures and cozy trips.
Today I want to share with you a little trip I made last Sunday, to one of the heritage towns of Antioquia and Colombia.
This is Santa Fe de Antioquia a small town just 1 hour from the city of Medellin.
A straight trip without any fatigue.
A hot town, but still... it preserves a small colonial place.
Upon arrival I was very surprised by the heat that I could feel and also see.
A temperature of approximately 40 degrees and a sun... that burns within minutes of being under it.
As I looked around, I still could not see that essence and structures of colonial houses, like other towns I have visited.
It really looked quite decayed, neglected and very dirty.
That made me quite sad.
One curiosity is that in that town... since the streets are so small and narrow, people are constantly moving around on small motorcycles called Tuc Tucs. People are constantly moving around on small motorcycles called Tuc Tucs.
Quite fast to tell the truth.
Quite a good, fast and attentive service.
That day I was visiting my younger sister.
When we arrived at her house, she and her husband took me to see the small area and heritage square.
We walked about 20 minutes downhill. It was very hot underneath, but when we arrived, it was totally worth it.
A clear place, with blue sky... covered with white houses and big and beautiful churches.
There are so many little things... that for this post I will be focusing on showing you first the houses that could be seen the most in the area.
Inside these houses you could see small stores, restaurants and cafes.
And many others were for family housing use.
I swear I wanted to go into each business and buy many beautiful things, originating from there.
Artisan and gastronomic.
There are still many things from this town that I would like to show you here.
Thank you for visiting

Hello friend @galenkp. I apologize, I already made the modification by removing the Spanish translation, I have only left the text in English. I also apologize that due to confusion and time lag, I thought that yesterday when I launched this publication was Monday and that's why I say in the publication that this trip was "yesterday". This trip actually took place on Sunday. I just thought that yesterday was Monday because of confusion. I have just modified the publication making this correction, I changed the word "yesterday" for "before yesterday" to refer to Sunday which was when I actually made the trip. I apologize. 🤦🏻♂️😞
Your post has been unmuted, thanks for editing.
Thank you very much! And sorry for the inconvenience 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏♥️
It's not a problem; I told you, you addressed it and didn't spazz out about it, and we move on. It seems to have been a good process.
Thank you for keeping me in mind, for the great correction and for the support. Best regards🙏
I would like to know this small town, it looks very picturesque. I like the photos.
A hug 💙
