Hola a todos mis queridos comensales, sean todos bienvenidos a mi blog, hoy paso de nuevo por acá para mostrarles una receta que me gusta mucho y que solemos preparar en casa los fines de semana, que es cuando comemos sin tanto protocolo de la semana de trabajo, escuela y otras obligaciones.

Hello to all my dear diners, welcome to my blog, today I'm here again to show you a recipe that I like very much and that we usually prepare at home on weekends, when we eat without so much protocol of the week of work, school and other obligations. 
Se trata de una Estupenda salsa de atún preparada con legumbres y maíz dulce, para acompañar con una rica pasta; a continuación les muestro los ingredientes que vamos a utilizar:
This is a great tuna sauce prepared with vegetables and sweet corn, to go with a delicious pasta; here I show you the ingredients we are going to use:
  • Pasta precocida; en este caso nosotros queríamos pasta corta
  • 2 latas de atún
  • 2 tomates maduros
  • 1 cebolla grande
  • 1 taza de maíz dulce
  • 1 pimentón rojo
  • Perejil y cebollín al gusto
  • Precooked pasta; in this case, we wanted short pasta.
  • 2 cans of tuna
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup sweet corn
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • Parsley and chives to taste

Y ahora les explicaré el paso a paso para esta deliciosa preparación:

1- Lo primero que hacemos será pelar y cortar en cuadritos pequeños la cebolla, el pimentón, la zanahoria, los tomates y por último el perejil y cebollín (el cuál vamos a reservar).
The first thing to do is to peel and cut into small cubes the onion, the bell pepper, the carrot, the tomatoes and finally the parsley and chives (which we are going to reserve).

2- Luego tomamos una cacerola y le agregamos un chorro de aceite y cuando esté bien caliente le incorporamos la cebolla con el ajo y poco a poco le agregamos el tomate con el pimentón y por último la zanahoria.
Then we take a pan and add a splash of oil and when it is very hot we add the onion with the garlic and little by little we add the tomato with the paprika and finally the carrot.

3- Sazonamos, le agregamos color y salsa de ajo a los aliños ya sofritos.
Season, add color and garlic sauce to the sautéed seasonings.

4- Abrimos las latas de atún le retiramos el aceite y lo dejamos en un plato, luego le agregamos un poco de agua a los aliños y dejamos cocinar por unos segundos; luego le añadimos el atún, el maíz y lo dejamos cocinar por 5 minutos.
We open the tuna cans, remove the oil and leave it on a plate, then we add a little water to the seasoning and let it cook for a few seconds; then we add the tuna, the corn and let it cook for 5 minutes.

5- Por último agregamos el perejil y el cebollín que teníamos reservado y dejamos cocinar unos minutitos; le adicionamos la pasta, revolvemos y listo!
Finally, add the parsley and the reserved chives and let cook for a few minutes; add the pasta, stir and that's it!
