In this post I want to show you how we continue with the remodeling of spaces in our house; the truth is that God's timing is perfect as it has allowed us to go little by little with the remodeling, after a long time.

The front wall of our living room - dining room deserved a little love and this was the time to get down to work and it was time to beautify it by changing the paint and placing the new floating furniture that I showed you in the previous post. 

 We removed all the furniture we had in our living room and brushed it to remove cobwebs.

We removed the decorative vinyls that were stuck on the wall to try to cover those areas first; for which it is worth advertising and notifying you that the paint is of very good quality despite its price; since the surfaces that we painted did not need an extra coat to cover completely.

This is how our wall was completely painted with only one coat of paint.

Now we verify and measure the location of our floating furniture, once this is done; we proceed to mark with the help of the drill where we would drill the wall since the furniture had its 8 holes made that were the ones we considered necessary to give firmness to our furniture since it lacks legs or supports.    

Then, with the little wooden strips I first made the spikes, plugs or dowels as they are also known; which are nothing more than wooden ramplugs that give greater support to what we want to hang, because once the screw or nail is inserted, the function of the spike is that it is securely fastened.

And once we placed all the spiches we proceed to screw our furniture. And this is how it looks hanging, the truth is that it was very well secured and its support capacity is guaranteed.

Then we proceed to drill the wall with the help of the drill, to mark where we will place the outlet for the electrical wiring and the coaxial, it should be noted that we will place it recessed for a better finish.   

We now move on to drill our 2 floating shelves that go on the sides, and then take them to the wall and perform the same procedure; mark with the drill where we are going to drill the wall.
