Shadow Hunter Contest round 26 - The Archaeological Park/Al Parco Archeologico

On Easter Monday, we went to the Fortezza Medicea in Poggibonsi, in the province of Siena, for a walk in the open air.
The spring weather tempted us to take a trip out and we took advantage of it.
While strolling inside the fortress, we were also able to see some archaeological excavations. The ruins or rather 'sassi' represent part of the village of 'Poggi Bonizio' from which the town originated.

Il Lunedi di Pasqua, siamo andati presso la Fortezza Medicea di Poggibonsi, in provincia di Siena, per una passeggiata all'aria aperta.
Il clima primaverile invogliava a fare una gita fuori porta e ne abbiamo approfittato.
Mentre passeggiavamo all'interno della Fortezza abbiamo potuto vedere anche alcuni scavi archeologici. Le rovine o meglio "sassi" rappresentano parte del borgo di "Poggi Bonizio" da cui ha avuto origine la città.
