What to do on a sunny Sunday in July? Let's go to the Palio of Casole d'Elsa. I know very well that it has been more than a month since I took this photo, but today that the Palio di Siena begins, I found it still very relevant.
What is a Palio? It's a horse race, where each horse represents the heart of a city neighborhood. And we -- waiting behind a fence -- await the arrival of the colors that will make many people's hearts beat.

Cosa fare in una assolata domenica di luglio? Andiamo al Palio di Casole d'Elsa. So benissimo che è passato più di un mese da quando ho scattato questa foto, ma oggi che inizia il Palio di Siena, l'ho trovata ancora molto attuale.
Cosa è un Palio? E' una corsa di cavalli, dove ogni cavallo rappresenta il cuore di un quartiere cittadino. E noi... in attesa dietro uno steccato, attendiamo l'arrivo dei colori che faranno battere il cuore di molte persone.
