Today I wanted to share some pictures from a recent yacht club we were visiting!

Yacht Club Walk

I want to preface that there is no way in hell we could afford any bit of this place LOL. We went there for a party! :D

We had a friend who was hosting a party for their kid and they decided it would be a good idea to spend a little extra money and do it at a yacht club that's in the area. We're good friends with them and were excited to be invited, because who doesn't enjoy a time at a place as beautiful as this?! We certainly did! The food was great as well, so that's always a nice plus lol

It's not too often that I've been to a party that necessitated it being at a yacht club. There is one place that we would frequent as a kid but that's because I had family who worked there and were partial owners at one point so it was pretty common for the whole family to go there. That yacht club was beyond it's days though, and not nearly as fancy as this one was lol. Not to throw shade on the places I've been to before, as they are all good and served their purposes for us in our lives. This place is a pretty nice one and it's certainly got it's fair share of beautiful boats all lined up! I can't imagine the amount of money these things cost, nor the ability to be able to afford something like this and not collapse at the cost of it lol

The place was situated nicely on this inlet where it would lead out into a bigger river, which would then lead out into the ocean. I may have been here once or twice when I was younger but this isn't a common place for me to have visited. I know for sure that if I was here, I only went inside and didn't get a chance to spend time outside like this and enjoy the view!

I'm glad that I did get to, considering there were a lot of kids at the party! I was able to sneak away and get 5 minutes to myself so that I could enjoy the view, the quiet and snap a few photos for the ecosystem here!

I sometimes wonder if there will ever be a point in my life where we will be able to afford anything like this lol. I know things change often and all kinds of things can happen that could change someone's life drastically but having enough money to own a big ass boat and pay for it to be slipped at a place like this seems impossible for me on a lot of levels. That was one of the things that I was thinking about when I was hanging out out there. Not really the best thing to be doing when you're enjoying a beautiful view like that lol but the mind can be tricky sometimes! Random shit pops in and you have to see it through.

The grounds were wonderful though. I certainly enjoyed having the party here, as you had a lot of space and that also meant a pretty good amount of privacy no matter what room you were in! The room we were using had a nice little patio outside and that then linked over to this decent little grassy area with some nice trees and a little bit of landscaping around. This place is pretty popular and famous for weddings, and I could certainly see why! There were a number of places where you could host the bride and groom and it be a fantastic experience! I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a wedding here lol they had a bridal shower in one of the other rooms when we were there which was cool. Memories!

It wouldn't be a place near the ocean where we live without a giant ass anchor stuck in the ground lol. I love all the nautical stuff around though! As I'm typing this, we've got some nautical stuff in the room and it's one of my favorite themes for things, especially when it's some outside decorations like this. Having the red maple right there as well makes it a pretty cool spot to sit and hang out for a little bit! I don't think they had a bench here, but it would've been a cool spot to put a bench!
