Damn that's brutal sorry man! My brother is one that would do that too, drink and just want to talk for hours and hours into the wee hours of the morning. As you said it’s not horrible once or twice but constantly it’s wearing on the psyche for sure.

Hopefully your younger son gets back on his feet and moves back out - my brother did the same to my parents and although circumstances are likely different (he’s lazy as fuck) he’s never left and I feel for my dad and having to deal with that BS.

Alcohol is a hell of a drug and I hope to not be addicted to it, thankfully this lack of interest of late in it because I’m more in need of sleep than anything is a good thing!
